Just for fun. If you could make a live action ThunderCat movie and cast anyone you’d want, who would you pick?

My choices…

Lion-O - Brendan Fraser - Lion-O was a kid trapped in a man’s body. I think Brendan can play that kind of character. He’s got a good sense of humor which I think would also work great for Lion-O.

Tygra - Eric Bana - while his character Nero was evil in Star Trek, he showed a great array of conflicting emotions which I think is perfect for Tygra. And if he keeps his Aussie accent, then that is fine with me. :thumbsup:

Cheetara - Cote de Pablo - the NCIS star has displayed the ability to be tough as nails and good in a fight and yet be feminine. Plus she has the slimmer build since that seems to be important for the character.

Panthro - Samuel L. Jackson - I just think he’d be an awesome Panthro with his persona.

My Thunderkitten choices are a little old for the roles, but this is dream cast, so…

Wilykit - Selena Gomez - having seen some of her Disney show, I think her playful personality fits Wilykit very well.

Wilykat - Alexander Ludwig - having seen him in Race to Witch Mountain and The Seeker: The Dark is Rising - his more serious nature shows good Wilykat traits with a desire to prove himself, to be taken seriously, etc…

The only thing I would change would be to have Vin Diesel as Panthro.

That is a good choice! He also has a much better build for Panthro than Jackson.

I think Jason Momoa from the new Conana the Barbarian movie would make a great Lion O just on appearance. He has very lionistic features.

Yeah I can see him as Lion-O and Lucy Lawless as Willa.

BTW, I also have a few ideas for my original characters.

I didn’t see Troy. To me, all those movies about men in toga’s fighting just seem to blend together. Everyone told me how great Gladiator was. I was severely disappointed when I finally watched it. Just not my kind of movies. And Brad Pitt in the role, meh. Again, not a Brad Pitt fan.

Ashton Kutcher as Lion-O? Wow, that would be… interesting. Has he ever played a somewhat serious role?

“The Butterfly Effect” and “The Guardian”. You can look those movies up on wikipedia. I saw the latter and thought it was a good flick XD.

I still prefer Vin as Panthro because I think he’s a better fit as a Master Mechanic and serious warrior.

I also think Ron Perlman or Gary Oldman would make a good Mumm Ra as well. Christopher Lee would make a good Mumm Ra. However, with his beard as Count Duku in Star Wars, I think he may also make a good Jaga.
