Allright guys I have just received a PM from Andrew saying he is willing to donate a print of a cartoon he is producing…Redneck Space Track as well as a mini figures weapons pack. This is to promote not only TCL but Andrews new venture as well as toysandtoons nad possibly CSG,. I am still awaiting further information from them and i hope they didnt get cold feet. Anyways the giveaway will be for folks to create their own custom action figure..Thundercats related of course either from existing figures or a new one from scratch. I will also add some goodies as well and I can throw in some sort of gift certificate wether it is Ebay, CSG or simply PayPal.
The main thing here is promotion and have folks contribute to the site and encourage discussion. I have a set up i can use that is being used over here http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=22932 but basically it just has to be tweaked for what we want to do. Your thoughts!!!
Manny I’m continually impressed by the positive things you’re bringing to the team. You’re really shining through as a leader of fun ThunderCats stuff. You’re great at networking and I think you’re a terrific spokesperson for TCL.
Thanks Mark, you know I just try to keep busy on other stuff when Im not doing anything content related. Its tough though because there is so much that I want to do… t-shirts, price guide, advertising, giveaways, contests…there’s too little time and too much to do. It helps a lot though that Ive kept in touch with Andrew.
Its a lot of fun for me plus doing contests like this can spark not only interest but some cool things from fans.
All of us though have something that stands out above everyone else and when it all comes together we bring the very best of Thundercats to fans. Its satisfying when members on different forums say that we are the ONLY Thundercats website on the web. maybe hard to believe but guys we are the only website with the most Thundercats content anywhere on the net. If only we could be on top of Google
Anyways Im going to be in touch with Andrew and hopefully CSG and hopefully I can lay out the details on the forum for the contest. This could be the biggest giveaway we do and on top of what Andrew can donate I will throw in some of my extra Thundercats items along with a gift certificate of some sort, perhaps something like a $20 git certificate to use towards CSG services.

I have to be honest (and now that Angie is no longer on the team I can get away with saying things like this! ;)) and say that I think this site really is the very best on the Internet for ThunderCats - there is nowhere else that lays this stuff out as clearly and easy to access as we do, and when you throw in there the most complete TCats toy guide on the 'Net, the Animation Art Section, the Original Comic Art Gallery, etc., it really adds up to something special!
I have to say, though, that I won’t consider we have more content online than any other site until I’m able to complete our Episode Guide, and also complete the Comic Section, both of which are areas that Angie’s site has a great deal of lead on us - for cartoon-based info specifically I actually think Angie’s site is the best on the Internet, the only area where we can actually push ahead is in how clearly and professionally our stuff is laid out. But, the content will come!
