Clerks 2 Thread

Who here is excited about Clerks 2 this Friday?

I am definitely going to be seeing the first showing. I have such mixed emotions.. On one hand I’m super excited and on the other I really hope it doesn’t ruin the original. I’ve heard it’s done extremely well in all it’s pre-screenings so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh and to tie this into TCat related I always have a craving to sing Berzerker whenever the berzerkers are on

I feel exactly the same way about the movie. I’ve heard nothing but good things so I’m pretty psyched about it. I mean any movie that Joel Siegel storms out of 45 minutes into has to be comedic gold. :mischievous:

awesome.. simply hilarious.. clerks will always be better tho

I dunno I just thought the storyline could have been better even though the jokes were hilarious it was just too much prolonged mushy stuff

and he had his wife show her t*** wtf???

go see it.

I saw it yesterday afternoon and I loved it. Randal has to be my favorite Askeniverse character and he completely owned this movie. I really loved how the movie ended and can’t wait for the animated movie to come out. My only complaint with the movie is the ridiculous part where it became a musical and everyone started dancing.

I don’t think I’ll be able to say which I liked better until I see Clerks 2 a few more times.

I know some of the scenes between Dante and Becky were sloooow. I swear they just stared at each other for at least 30 seconds.:irked:

He sure did. I agree everyone should go see this movie.

Wha what? I just hope the animated movie turns out to be better than the Animated Series. THAT thing stunk more than a turd baking in the hot Arizona sun! :slythe:

clerks II Rocked!!!

The dancing scene was corny I agree, My favorate parts were when Jay did all silence of the lambs thing and I almost died during the “Pillow Pants” part

The animated series wasn’t the best, but it was certainly better than most things on television. The movie should be better due to the fact that there will be no network restrictions. 8)

The entire theater erupted during the “Pillow Pants” scene it was probably the biggest laugh of the movie.

To those who have seen the movie did you notice anyone walk out? I have seen a few things about the handicapped or black people walking out and was wondering how common it was. Nobody walked out where I was.

I didn’t notice anyone walking out, then again we saw it late at night

I may have to go see this one…lately within the last couple of weeks movies have been kinda blah.
