Seems that each character in the original series had a unique theme song for their character. In the episode “Doomgaze” which I was watching a little bit ago, when Panthro rode in to help Lion-O, I instantly recognized the music as being Panthro’s. I’m curious if anyone knows in which episodes each character’s theme song was initially introduced?
That is so true. I remember hearing them all so distinctly on “Lion-o’s Anointment”
I thought the first time the characters theme songs were heard was the episode “Slaves of Castle Plun-Darr”. At least I’m fairly sure for Panthro, Tygra, and Cheetara.

I’ve been searching all over the net…youtube specifically, and I heard them all. Do you think they will ever release a cd with all of Bernard Hoffers music?
There is a petition to get a soundtrack for the classic series released by Warner Bros. The raw tracks do exist. When the DVDs first came out, the second episode was lacking music.
I believe that it is possible to rip the music tracks from the DVDs. I’ve been dying to get the theme song without sound effects or vocals to use in making a music video, but it doesn’t seem like anyone’s extracted those tracks. Even if they did get them, it likely wouldn’t be the entire song, save for the opening theme.
I’m dying to get them too…with the re-release of the cartoon you think they would make a cd? We have calanders, t-shirts, toys, dvds, all that’s missing is the music.

Sounds like old school MIDI’sbut yes I would love to hear the orignal score to the series. The music was so good, and I think plenty of people would enjoy it. Not to mention how cool would it be to hear a full orchestra play it??
