Good news to all those who dont have Sky here in the UK. Channel 5 will be showing New Alliances, 4th November 10.35-11.10. I was able to set it up on a series link to record, which means that all the remaining episodes will be available to watch in the UK.
Hopefully strong audience figures from Overseas may help get the show back on track.
I seen it advertised yesterday during Monster House.
Thought I’d just post this on this thread because I don’t know if it would fit on another thread or be worthy enough to start a thread over, but Dan Norton on Facebook put he just got “amazing news on future endeavors.” The only other thing I’m aware he does is the new Batman series, but it could be a shed of hope. Considering he truly has shown that he wants ThunderCats to continue, it does seem probable. I’m definitely not getting my hopes up.
As for the topic for this thread, with it showing on Toonami and on Channel five for you guys (I’m in the US, obviously), hopefully it will get some attention it didn’t receive before.
He also has a personal project called Titans about giant robots. Maybe his news has something to do with that instead.
Here in Sweden the airing has been a big success from the looks of it. Kids run around with toys and they are already starting with reruns (even though they have not shown all eps yet).
Is it a comic or something? I’d kinda like to see what it’s about.
The only problem with this is though its odd putting it on just over the holidays for a short run.
The OS and all the successful current cartoons are on once a week at a regular time slot.
If they could have it on CBBC or CITV at a regular time around 3.30pm or 4.00pm once a week it would be far better…or even every Saturday or Sunday morning.
Also in UK Thundercats news Smyths toy stores have now slashed the Thundercats prices even further.

Love the bandai toys, love the show so ill be watching and showing support. 
The thing is that the adult fans supported and loved the show more than the young generation to whom the show was mainly aimed to.I see eye to eye about the NS Cartoon with you, still the Bandai toys is another thing. I do too purchased the majority of the Bandai toys when the whole fuss broke out. The truth is much as i wanted to overlook the major negative points with the new toys comparing tot he LJN Thundercats, the overall lack of aesthetic quality was very conspicuous…unfortunately
Right now i am in the position of denial, i’d like to complete my Bandai thundercats collection with some more figures but on te other hand i blame Bandai as well for the present plight. SO i decided to keep my distance from buying more new figs.
The LJN Thundercats, singlehandedly kept the franchise alive for many,many years, however, the Bandai Thundercats helped to put the nail in the coffin for the New Series and lead to its siden demise…too bad that’s the mentality..and the reality
Agreed Lordore. Although the love and quality of the old cartoon aswell as the LJN toys kept the franchise alive. The NS had 3 major faults but the biggest fault was the Bandai toyline.
Couldn’t agree more, they repeated unacceptable mistakes one after the other, for instance, instead of going on with the marvelous 8’’ Thundercats(my personal favorite of them all), they had to go and make a repugnant 6’’ Lion-O and Mamm-ra…or why did they make the exact same figures in 4’’ and 6’'??? ALSO Thundecats were great back in the 80s because the Toys had the statue quality in them, but Bandai had to demote their version to the midget G.I Joe look alike…the ‘‘WHY’’ list goes on my friend…
Concering the Toys from these 2 eras, this comparison inevitably pops to my Mind and the winner is pretty obvious from any aspect you look it:

So don’t tell me that 25 years ago they could make these great Toys but in 2012 with all the technology, huge state of the art production units and resources can’t…so this is why i decided not to support further the company which helped to kill the 2011 Thundeercats…
I loved the 8" classics aswell. Instead of 2 poor lines they should have made the small range slightly bigger with less articulation than the 6" figures.
Articulation is all well and good but to much isn’t needed, just look how awful the current G.I, Joe’s are.
Although as bad as the Bandai toys are I still think the cartoon designs are bad as they lack all the things that made the original characters great, but no matter how good they would have bee designed I think Bandai would still have ruined them.
