So what do you think of what we see the ThunderCats wearing in this show?
I like that they’re not wearing swimsuits and spandex anymore. But I’m looking at this one picture and I don’t like Tygra’s pants. I’m guessing because anime is Asian that they’re styling his pants after a fashion in Asia, but I think they look like something a court jester would wear.
I prefer what they’re wearing now. They looked like a Super Hero group in the first one. Though they wore those outfits much better than most Super Heroes.
What they’re wearing now is a bit more realistic considering their setting.
And lol, I actually like Tygra’s pants. xD They seem more loose and comfortable, but that’s probly cause I wear that type of clothes.
Top part of his pants isn’t bad, but below the knee… yuck!
Didn’t notice that part. Looks more like armor bits that actual clothing though. But I agree. Not very good.

Yeah, it was the bottom part of the pants that made me think they looked like a court jester’s. But I was like - if you wear those kinda pants and like 'em, to each their own I guess! 
I just kinda assumed it was part of the boot like it is on Cheertara’s outfit. shrugs
I love the new clothes. They are hundreds of times better then the old skin tight swimsuit why the hell are they waring that outfits from before. These make sense to the characters, and well look danged smexy if I do say so myself.
I love Tygras outfit, and the pants too. I think they are tied off at the bottom and that center bit that looks like dagging is just armor from his boots but I could be wrong. I think its just parted in the middle and tied off. Which of course is rocking. SO much better then his gymnastics old nasty clothes. shudder

You don’t really watch anime do you? I ask because when I first started watching it 9 years ago…I used to really hate their fashion sense. For example…Jirou from Black Blood Brothers

I used totally HATE the character’s clothes. But then I had to say to myself…“We’re not in Kansas anymore”…and then come to terms that their totally bad fashion sense is a part of their culture…but you know what. Years of watching and learning about the cultures and diffrent fashion styles…have actually made me love the designs I once hated. They no longer look odd to me…Now Tygra’s pants look sorta Ninja-esque to me

They dont look odd to me at all. But then I’m very used to reading fantasy novels and stuff like that.
It went with the style of cartoon super heroes back in the that time period. If you look at the Super Friends cartoon, you’ll see some similarities.

I agree..that’s why I am glad they changed it. I didn’t realize until I became an adult–um they’re wearing tights and leotards. Not very manly for the guys…
I have The Last Airbender cartoon series on DVD and I’ve seen various anime cartoons since I was a kid. I also have Zelda: Twilight Princess on Gamecube (never got the Wii) and the top of Tygra’s pants looks like the kind of pants Link wore when he practiced Sumo shoving or whatever it was where he had to learn to push a big guy out of a circle. That doesn’t bother me, it’s the bottom part of his pants that I don’t like.
Vampire doesn’t come to mind when I see that picture. Magician does.
Yeah that or warlock but he’s a Vampire…ain’t that *****?!. I think it’s because he is a “Black Blood” a lot time the outfits are designed because the character’s name or character himself and powers are based on some myth or legend with and updated spin on it
Airbender isn’t an anime…but the same guys who did that are doing Thundercats. Well at least the character designers are the same…
Um…Didn’t watch or play Zelda. Not a gamer…The bottom part looks like the ties on pants that you sometimes see Ninja’s in. That and the shoes…
Nope, but it does make it very obvious how large and defined the muscles are, which I think was part of the point, along with the fact that it would make their alter-egos blend in better by creating so much contrast.
I know but also in those time periods…men could wear tight pants and it was cool:p

I don’t think men wore tight pants in the 80’s unless maybe they were some pop singer or something. In the 80’s, men did wear short shorts and tall tube socks. In the 90’s, the shorts got longer and the socks got shorter. 
And let’s not forget we 80s kids also grew up with Hulk Hogan and Friends, lol. Lots of tight pants even in the RL versions.
Lest we forget David Bowie in Labryinth as Jerreth with the tight pants…and pants candy…
So tight pants were in. I’m also happy to see the thundercats not all JACKED like they were professional body builders. You NEVER see them working out in the old cartoon but they are ripped. In the new one at least its not so…'rodied out.
But I’m digging the new clothes. Alot. The Thunderkittens clothes are too friggin cute.

Yeah, but he’s also been in a few movies. Labyrinth like was mentioned. He was also in The Prestige.
