Its a reseal, they were never sold like that
they are customs, I almost emailed the seller the other day asking him to label them as customs not some rare item.
I just emailed him, we will see his answer

Hmmmm, even though that seller has 100% positive feedback, he really needs to re-label that auction in order to retain that IMO - it makes me wonder whether he’s actually gotten hold of the figure from somewhere else and genuinely believes that what he holds in his hands is a legitimate MOC piece! :?

the seller stated that he didnt know as they were in a lot of thundercats stuff he got a few years ago from a flea market. I directed him here if he has anymore questions

While I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt, things just don’t add up with this guy.
If supposedly this guy doesn’t have a clue about Thundercats and just bought the items as is from the flea market, how does he know that Bengali is so rare?
Also, he lists his weapon as “his first weapons”, giving off the impression that that hammer was part of a very early release of Bengali or something.
Hopefully the bidders are well schooled in Thundercats collecting and know that the hammer does not belong to Bengali. Plus there is currently another Bengali with the real blue hammer being offered, so hopefully they can see the real deal vs the fake.
I guess I just hate watching people get taken for on eBay.

Nah I think most buyers should know what they are bidding on to be honest. If your a Thundercats fan and know nothing about the toys it isn’t hard to do some research first. I did when I started collecting again as I’d never seen Bengali, Pumyra or Lynx-o as a kid in stores.
But by looking on Thundercats fan sites I found what accessories came with them. The information is there, so if you are a fan you will read up on it.
Besides, I think most folks who buy Thundercats off ebay know what accessories each figure comes with.

Didn’t the South American (of that kin) carded Bengali come with a vacuum metalized axe for real? Odd looking thing as I can recall.
I’ll have to go back to my toy clip outs but it seems like I remember Benny coming with one in a foreign carded series.

No, your correct. The Playful (argentina) version of Bengali is a Tygra repaint, and the hammer/axe is silver, (rather then blue) and a different design.
I have mine boxed up but if you look around on here you can find some pics. In the toys section, under “variations” I believe.

Is this the guy from Greece that everybody’s been complaining about? If it is, he must be dumber than we think if he believes he can pass off Bengali with a silver axe. 
I have a Bengali figure of my own and it comes with the big blue hammer, I guarantee it.
And no, I’m not selling. Sorry, guys. Maybe some day. 
Not the guy from Greece, granted he overprices his stuff but I must say he provides many pics on his items and places honest auctions on Ebay
