Cap'n Cracka's Misc. Merch Collection (non-figure/vehicle/playsets)

that makes it even cooler that you happened to see him by chance. I wont lie, if i got to see the Old Man, that would be awesome. I’d get picture with him. hahaha. But yea, i can imagine that they are probably mainly only there for filming these days. I’m out on the east coast. Philly. (Philadelphia)

That’s the plan.
Me: ‘‘Isn’t is a coincidence all these places with really nice sceneries we’ve been all have really cool toy shops.’’

Not sure if this is a variation or what but I picked up this Vultureman in center because of the discoloration/yellowing of the body (i will try to get a better photo that shows this. The light used was more yellow than white so it almost hides how dark it is) and also the strange coloring on the arms and legs. The one cool thing about the darker coloring on the arms and legs make small details in the skin that went unnoticed very prevalent. Another strange thing about this Vultureman is the plastic used for the head. It wasn’t soft plastic and it wasn’t hard plastic. It is a combination of both. The head does not squeeze with ease like with the soft head ones but there is some give to it when it is pushed unlike the hard plastic one. All 3 beaks appear to be different shades of yellow as well. Another thing I noticed after taking pictures of the 3 Vultureman figures together was that the figure itself is actually smaller than the other two. I couldnt put my finger on it at first. I just kept looking at it and could tell something was different and the closer I look

The center Vultureman appears to actually a little bit smaller than the other two. Height wise. **Also, the center (discolored) Vultureman’s arms and legs are not sticky and that is not just dust or dirt that has accumulated in the crevices.

It looks like the arms and legs of the center Vultureman used a darker plastic than that of the other two.

That’s interesting that he is a little smaller.

it looks to be about an an eighth of an inch smaller. I am going to get another couple pairs of eyes on it to confirm because maybe i am just going crazy from going over them for as long as i have.

Interesting! I have one that is discolored similar to yours. I haven’t really checked any of the other differences you noted as I always just assumed it was from aging.

The fact that the head was semi pliable is what made me want to look at it closer. It really is the middle of the spectrum hardness wise in comparison to the soft plastic head version and hard plastic head version two. As is the yellow that is used for the beak and eyes. Maybe it is all something to do with aging possible “rotting” of the plastic?? I am not sure but thought it was worth noting.

Maybe the plastic has shrunk with age or maybe the factory mould was different.

Any differences on the foot stamps?

nah, foot stamps are all the same

that sounds plausible. I can’t say for sure. I dont know if plastic would shrink with age. It could have been a different factory mold. Right now, its a big old question mark i need to figure out.

I have heard of some plastic shrinking on action figures.

I was thinking that the different molds were linked to the letter/number combination on the bottom of the feet.

Vultureman is one crazy bird.

Latest Addition, an outstanding painting by the boards own Mark M. Castle Plun-Darr is one of the best “evil lairs” of all time, in my opinion. Love this piece. Thank you again Mark M !!!
