I think that some of our collector friends here (such as thunderianroyalguard, Cap’N Cracka and many more) stand a good chance of getting the record for the biggest ThunderCats collection! 
My collection wont break any records. All I have now of Thundercats is, the DVDs, some comics and a VHS tape. 
It’s better than not having anything at all. Besides, it’s never too late to start, my friend. Most collectors don’t collect to break any records. They just do it because of their love for that particular franchise/items. And many collector’s are happy with their modest sized collection.
I think for a few years mine was very very big. I can tell you that when I stopped collecting I had already spent almost $10,000. I had pretty much almost every LJN variation. Back then between the years of 2004 and around 2008-09 when i stopped things werent so expensive. We’re talking 150-200 carded Bengalis…I got a 8 back Panthro for like 50 bucks. I think boxed Tongue a Saurus cost less than 200.
I stopped around the 2008 crash and diverted funds from the sales of items to something more in focus for my long term future (house, etc).
I wish I couldve stayed with the collection but truth of the matter is that I burnt myself out collecting. I was in hyper mode when it came to collecting and I wanted everything fast. I Kind of lost the love for collecting because I reached my goals too fast. Luckily all my pieces have gone to great homes so Im happy for that
I had all the figures until a couple moths ago, but due to lack of space and the plastic starting to go funny on some of them I decided to sell and get what cash I could for them I would have loved to keep them but I do quite a bit with ÂŁ500+. 
I still have my Bravestarr toy collection.
