Beware Ebay Member dancot70,aka justcotto,wildcard8080,thundercatsloverpart2,azcar ds43,batmantoys81

Oh, my! Y’think he’s upset?

I believe so…seriously guys this seller needs to stop and without the help of the community we cannot stop it. He has been reported several times already, his latest scam is excessive shipping charges. He is charging now $15 to ship a Berbil. If you guys notice excessive shipping as well, report him. It only takes a couple of seconds to prevent him from scamming people

Manny,
How did you get in contact with the bidder on that Snarf lion-o. I have tried numerous times to contact the bidders of his auctions and ebay wont let me. I have also emailed him about his auctions but he only plays ignorant with me.

Jeez, not even when I shipped a Berbil to Canaduh did it cost that much.

Matt…
Just send a message to him via Ask seller a question about item

Reported. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I don’t do business on Ebay, so dancot70’s activities don’t affect me. But I stand with MannyC in saying that dancot70 should be reported every time he tries to pull a scam. If he screams, let him; it’s all he’s good for.

It’s amusing how dancot70 accuses MannyC of “hating”. The truth is that it’s dancot70 who’s the hater because he tries to scam people out of their money, first with phony and resealed ThunderCat items and then with excessive shipping charges. :sneaky:

He now has a third Ebay account under wildcard8080

Because I’m a man of my word…lol

Dear robimus_prime,

Dear dancot70,

You are correct I have no interest in calling you but I’ll certainly pass your number on to the many other people who might. There was a fair offer on the table to make things right and that was refused, and because of that I have the responsibility to warn others about your/her ebay practices. If you don’t like the negative press, don’t sell re-sealed items as mint on card. I can’t believe someone paid over $250 for the Lion-O with Snarf that wasn’t even in the right bubble…but I believe it was P.T. Barnum who said there is a sucker born every minute.

So if anybody has a concern or just wants to order a pizza to his house now you can. :0) And thanks Manny for keeping the eye out I suspect he has something to do with the user-name Daxa1p0 that I have an on-going issue with but no proof but everybody watch out for them just in case.

Hey Rob…you can get the contact information for that Ebay username. He/she is based out of New York so it should be a dead giveaway if it’s the same person or not.

I don’t know what bothers me most about this douche; that he chose Thudercats as a means for fraudulent sales, or his grammar.:x

Robimus, are you not able to send that email to eBay? I mean seriously I don’t think a seller should be calling people a-holes when he is clearly in the wrong.

That depends on whether dancot sent the email from personal email or whether he used the eBay “Ask Seller Question/Contact Buyer” messaging system. If it is personal email, I would forward it to eBay for reference, although they cannot do anything about it. If the msg was sent through eBay, Robimus can report him and eBay can take appropriate action. I figure the more strikes he has against him, the sooner eBay can get rid of him.

Alex - it’s gotta be the Thundercats. The grammar is just icing on a cake made of crap. Actually, that being said, his grammar drives me up a wall. He can’t read or write beyond a 3rd grade proficiency. I wonder how he functions in life…

Wow that is funny. You prick call me man to man call me dan. LOL

Wow,

I can’t believe there’s a thread this huge regarding this guy. I’ve seen him selling items in the past and I bought an item from him a year ago. He charged $12 for priority mail and then send it parcel post in a bubble mailer (it was a MOC item) and that took 3 weeks to arrive.

I bid on a few of those sealed figures over the past few months but didn’t win any of them. I bid low because I figured there was a scam somehow. I was hoping that he had changed.

 This man has given me nothing but trouble on ebay. I sent him two items that he bought from me. USPS lost the items and I gave him the tracking number and told him that I would further pursue the issue, instead he opened up a dispute and then had ebay take the money out of my account and refund it to him. I am a honest person and with time and a little more research would have fixed the problem but he was sneaky and lied about it and has ****ed me off to no point. He then emailed me saying that it wasn’t the end end off the worl and to get over it. But not that grammatically correct. Thanks for listening, I just neede to vent about this fraud. :sneaky:

Its like the man learned to speak from the Mutant gang in “The Dark Knight Returns”

I would find everything he does laughable and entertainment if he didn’t take great flipping wads of cash from decent hard-working people for misrepresented items.

A short while ago I almost put in a bid for an item after talking to him and working out an alternate payment for an item until I read this thread.

Turns out it was Dancot, so I owe you a great dept of gratitude, Chomeagle, for posting his new identificatons regularly! wipes brow

I said it once and I’ll say again…he has good items that could stand on their own and he’d make a good profit. There’s no need for him to do this at all.

Also where in the world does he get his cards, back supports, and bubbles to re-seal? He must have a time machine or something! Maybe he should sell that.

@KTMAuctions: I am so sorry that you’ve been bitten but no amount of condolence will make you feel better. I have to say that the majority of E-bayers either sellers or buyers are honest good people and Danrot is the exception not the rule.

Its like Kylefromdirtnapp says frequently “Karma is a (b-word)” He’ll get his someday.

Sometimes people will sell just the card/bubble of a figure, etc… Fans would delicately unseal the bubble from the card in order to display just the figure, and then store away the card/bubble.

If you look at his feedback as a buyer, you can see all the stuff he has purchased recently. This is where you can piece together where he has gotten the items necessary to “put together” a supposedly “moc” item.

Holy Cow

I think that sums it up.

Hi Guys,

Long time collector and Thundercat enthusist but I just came across the Messageboards. I was directed here by a message from someone to google this idiot’s name to see his history. I did not know it was this bad.

I have had quite a few dealings with this piece of work. My first being that I was the one who sold the cards/blisters of the Snowman of Hook Mt, Pumayra, Capt Cracker, Grune, Ma Mutt, Lynx-o and a few others several months back. I sold them under the name Joker316 on Ebay and sold them to Dancot70. No problems in the begining but he was ultra aggressive in trying to get me to sell them cheaper than what I wanted. In the end, he got them at the auction prices but never left me all the feedback.

While this was going on, I saw that he was auctioning of Lunataks customs, most notably the Boskoe Toys Tug Mugg and a custom Chilla and Red Eye. I got them wicked cheap but was only concerned with the Tug Mugg and Red Eye. When I got them, they were put into three plastic bags and thrown into an envelope. Needless to say, Red Eye arrived heavily damaged but Tug Mugg was ok. I sent him several nasty emails but he floated the issue. I decided not to pursue only because I had more money tied up with him in the blister cards which he had yet to acknowledge receiving and not having a problem with. For some reason, I bought another Chilla custom, but I think I wanted it for reference to color and paint. After that, I stopped dealing with this jerk. I couldn’t figure out why his auctions would not garnish the type of money that they should have when he was listing pretty rare stuff (MOC Jagas, Ben Gali’s etc.) Judging by this thread and his history, I can see why now.

In my Ebay preferences, I have new Thundercats auctions sent to me daily. The last few months, I have repeatedly received notices that looked eerily familair and in time I learned to recognize this guys auctions by the the picture and the fact that he ha a cheap @$$ camera. That’s how I came across his new Wildcard name. I am not sure who he thinks he can full from the Thundercats community as his auctions are the same from user name to user name. That and the location listing of The Bronx is a dead giveaway.

I continue to harass him as feedback pops up on each of his user names accusing him as not selling what is advertised. His reponses are classic and his grammar atrocious. Everyone’s a bum and he’s a “good, honest Ebayer.”

But anywho, that’s my piece guys and I look forward to being here on the messageboards.

Email I received from this putz when I called him to the table on his practices:

Dear joker316,
