Wow! That’s a hard one. I think I’ll stick to the orignal TCs, as I don’t remember any of the new ones having an episode centered on them (except maybe for Lynx-o, but all his episodes were almost the same).
The original TCs did have some interesting eps though (except maybe for Panthro, he has no interesting eps IMO).
Lion-O: “All that Glitters”, “Demolisher”, “Astral Prison”
The kittens: “Tower of Traps”, “Trouble with Thunderkittens”.
Tygra: “Garden of Delights”, “Trial of Mind Power”, “Pumm-Ra”
Cheetara: “The Trial of Speed”
The whole team: “Thundercubs”, “Divide and Conquer”.
Pumm-Ra is a good one for Tygra. Rewatched it this evening because I forgot what happened in it. He reveals that though Jaga made Lion-O Lord of the ThunderCats, he appointed Tygra as head of the ThunderCat council. It’s also Tygra who has Jaga’s blessing to take the dangerous path into Cats Lair instead of Lion-O since being the architect of the Lair, Tygra was the best choice. I heart :tygra:.
I think another good episode that shows the Thunderkittens strengths is Hachiman’s Honor. I also think Runaways is significant in showing very distinct differences between the kittens. Wilykat eager to make the older Cats suffer for how he feels they’ve been treated and Wilykit very convicted that doing so is wrong.
Also in “Pumm-Ra”, Tygra defeated Mumm-Ra all by himself.
How did he do that? All I recall was Mumm-Ra being asked who he was really and he goes into his little speal and finally transforms but immediately transforms into his weaker form and leaves. I assumed because he had been away from his sarcophagus so long. How did Tygra defeat Mumm-Ra?
When Tygra entered the Cats Lair, Mumm-Ra was already at the head of the lair, still in the Pumm-Ra disguise. Tygra stands in front of Mumm-Ra/Pumm-Ra, turns invisible, grabs him from behind and turns his arm backwards. After that, Lion-O enters and asks “Is that you, Tygra?”, and Tygra turns visible again, still holding Mumm-Ra’s arm.
Ok, maybe “defeat” is a big word, but he definitely beat him.
Oh yeah. Loved that moment! Rewatched that moment a couple times. 
There is something very satisfying in seeing a hero character physically nab a baddie. I personally love those moments in shows. It was a much more satisfying moment to watch Tygra in his element as someone not to be messed with than to see Lion-O shine Mumm-Ra’s reflection at him and send him flying away to his tomb.
