Well, I stand corrected! Apparently the Bengali/laser saber figure is legit! And it was not supposed to be released? How lucky you are, sir! How did you get hold of it?
They sold some thundercat mocs on ebay.co.uk last week and sold a normal bengali but not this one. By chance last saturday i looked on the website saw this laser saber bengali and bought it. I was really excited though as ive never seen it before on ebay and heard about mumm-ra with lasher and lion-0 with wings but never this bengali
Cant believe i got it and i hope i make a profit!
Truely a great figure-just a shame my girlfriend wants me to sell it and go to Las Vegas for a few nights with the sale money.
I guess to top this one i’ll have to find a moc mad bubbler!!! if bengali laser saber was released some1 must have a mad bubbler!

I guess since the ben-gali light saber is now verified the hunt begins for the lion-o, mumm-ra and captain shiner versions. What else was released in europe that we never knew about. Someone find a european LJN employee for the love of jaga.
Check out the LJN 1987 Dealer catalog…there may be a few other things that were in the works and might have been released at some point. This Ben Gali really took me by surprise, my eyes really couldnt beleive it
I am new to this site, I monitor ebay and I recently saw what the Laser Sabers Bengali went for. I recently purchased a similar Ben-Gali along with Lion-O and Mumm-Ra from Shenanigans toys in the UK. Got a question for you, MannyC. Since I’ve never been seriously involved in toy collecting (though I have my few T-Cat figures), I’m not familiar with the terminology I’ve seen here on TCL and I’m slowly starting to get to know it. I’ve learned that “MOC” is “mint on card”, but what the expression mean?
Usually an MOC figure is basically a mint figure on the card. The requirement for this is that the bubble must still be factory sealed hence making the figure “mint”. There are different terms that are used or misused sometimes. Some people view a MOC figure as simply a carded figure even if it is a resealed item. That is misleading as a MOC or Mint on Card figure must still be factory sealed.
Other terms used are MOMC which stands for Mint on Mint Card, NIB for New in Box or MIB for Mint in Box. Hope this helps
Ah, I see. So a “Mint On Card” means a new figure made and sealed at the factory before being shipped out to a store, and it’s the same for a NIB or a MOMC figure. Ideally, a figure has to be made and sealed/boxed/carded at the factory before it can be called MOC, NIB, or MOMC and shipped out. Now I understand the resealing aspect a little better, but you’d need a machine for that, wouldn’t you? Resealing by hand wouldn’t look as professional, or can it?

It’s kinda common for late releases in Europe that didn’t go to retail in the USA. The MOTU giants Tytus and Megator are 2 other examples of this from another winding down toyline.
