hi any more news when there out? tried emailing a few companys and got back that they have no further news on release dates
I came on here today looking for more info, too, but all I got was your post. I pre-ordered the Ben-Gali over the summer, with August/Sept as the release date. It’s the end of October now and no word. Anyone know what’s up?
Lots of delays across the board from various high end collectible companies. Sideshow and affiliates seem to be the only ones large enough to keep everything on track. I think part of the problem is all of this junk is being produced in China, but whatever keeps the cost down, I guess?
Definitely looking forward to adding these to my collection, I’m VERY pleased with the Hard Head line so far!
Hard Hero’s factories are overseas, where I don’t know but the Chinese New Year was the reason they got behind. Cheetara was slated for a 2nd Quarter release but didn’t ship out until about a month ago, so like 5 months behind schedule due to the factories. Cheetara’s delays resulted in delays for both Mumm-Ra and Ben Gali. Mumm-Ra was slated for 3rd Quarter, which I believe ends sometime in October. Ben Gali was slated to release by the end of September. Is Mumm-Ra next to be produced/released as he was posted first, or Ben Gali since he had an earlier and more specific date (plus exclusive to BBTS)?

I just heard some good news. Ben Gali will be the next one out the door, followed by Mumm-Ra. Ben Gali hopefully should leave the factory within the next month, factor in shipping to US, time to number them all and do signatures on 50 of them, send them all to BBTS and then distributed from there, and we are hopefully looking at at his arrival to customers by the end of the year.
No word on when we can expect Mumm-Ra to be ready to head across the sea.

Shipping from the factories in November is the unofficial word I got. Unofficial as it did come from an employee, but not via a post or update on any site or forum. Based on how long it took for Cheetara to cross the ocean and ship to customers (just over 1 full month), I am guessing sometime in December would be about right, depending on when in November Ben Gali (hopefully) starts his trip over.
The lack of official updates is my only gripe about Hard Hero. Cheetara was listed as releasing in Q2, 2010 up until the day she shipped out to customers in mid Q3. Depending on who I have talked to there, I have gotten responses ranging from “the website has the most accurate release dates” to “Ben Gali should be leaving the factories sometime in November”.
