Pretty pointless post, but hey.. Just though some of you might wanna see how I do the illustrations for the encyclopedia now. I have changed my method slightly. This example is one of the harder ones as there is very little source material (due to him being a RUBBISH character). In this instance I ocassionally do some research and imagine what the character looks like front on.. or what the rest of him will look like.

Wow that is mighty cool Kyle, it just shows the lengths you go to, to get the illustrations spot on! :eek:
Also, I’ve always wondered where that thing came from and what it’s name was… guess it was just a creature the mutants had enslaved like the brutemen. It was never really explained in the cartoon though was it?

BTW, off-topic but whilst I think about it - I’d been going to send you a PM to ask whether you could make a priority drawing Mongor for the Encyclopedia, with a view to using his illustration in the Episode Guide? In my write-up for his episode I have utilised at least one Mongor quote, I believe possibly two, so a Mongor image would obviously be useful! Please can you LMK if this would be OK? Many thanks!
Done the Mongor Illustration and will be uploading it alongside a few other new additions the the Encyclopedia this afternoon. Quickly though.. here is an example of why I have changed my final rendering process from Photoshop to Illustrator (now that I have mastered the software).. The illustrations are beyond HD.. Because they are vector I can blow these up to be the size of my house lol.. Wish I had done all the rest like this.. but anyway..

BTW, I haven’t forgotten I owe you loads of text for the Encyclopedia - keep a look out for that, having made a bit of headway with the Episode Guide writing I could do with having something new to tackle as a bit of light relief! Not sure what I’m going to say about the generic Mutants, but hopefully I’ll think of something…!
