Fellow forum members beginning today we will feature a battle of any character in the Thundercats universe against anyone within the Thundercats universe or any cartoon character from another series.
It could be good vs. good, bad vs. bad or good vs. bad. After you vote in the poll above give us your opinion on why the character you voted for would win. Please post any suggestions of battles that you would like to see featured in the future. This weeks battle will feature the mighty Lord of the Thundercats Lion-O against none other than X-men’s Wolverine. And remember to vote not for who you like but for who you think will win
A bit of info on Wolverine: Wolverine has many animal like powers attributed to his mutant gene. His senses are extremely heightened, making him able to track by smell alone and detect nearby enemies. He also has bone claws that can pop out through the skin of his knuckles and are razor sharp weapons.
One of the things that allow Wolverine to do the things he does is his superhuman healing factor. Cuts, bullet wounds, broken bones and much more can be healed in a matter of minutes, if not seconds to heal him from most any injury. A side effect of this healing factor is that drugs have little affect on him (including alcohol) and that he has an unnaturally long lifespan
I voted for Wolverine (even though I’d like Lion-O to win) simply because Wolverine can heal easily and before Lion-O even knows it Wolverine would be there, not only that but his sharp claws would slice Lion-O in a heart beat
I go with wolverine. He has a healing factor, is older than dirt. His past is completely hidden/taken from him, He fights crazy because he has nothing to lose. Not to mention that he he fights like a wild animal trapped in a cage, with an adimantium skeleton and claws. Wolverine is 100%bad ass.

If Lion-O has the sword of omens with him, he could have the edge, but of course he couldn’t kill Wolverine because the sword won’t let you use it for evil, and it seems like the sword won’t go so far as to kill a living being… so I’ll go for a draw
The Sword will protect Lion-O and he’s agile enough to avoid the worst of Wolverine’s attacks, but any damage does Wolverine will heal from.
Lion-O can’t make a killing blow with the sword… so it’s a draw
Seems to me all Lion-O could do is protect himself and have no offensive whatsoever. Except maybe a few punches here and there and maybe some kicks. Then again thats just going to upset Wolverine
i’ll go with Lion-O taking everything into consideration he might not be able to use the sword to kill Wolverine but i think Lion-O would devise some method to trap Wolverine.
I don’t wanna take anything away from these types of threads, but you will find that on the forum associated with the character, the home character will always win.
Be the same on he-man.org if you put Lion-o against He-Man (He-Man would always win)
