Hey guys it looks like we will have to start banning IP addresses altogether. I believe only admins can only do that but I will need everyones help on this. Whenever you deleted a thread as spam it shows you the users and the IP addresses next to them, please post their IP addresses on this thread and I will ban them. Thanks

This is from a spammer I just banned. I’ve deleted the same spam post twice today posted by different ID’s. The IP address might be a good one to ban has it may be related to multiple spam accounts

(Edit) Idea - As IPs are banned someone edit post #1 to have a single list. So for example, as we ban the dcoo “clan”, we can see if that IP has already been banned

Will banning IPs ban the user accounts that use them? I ask because there have been multiple dcoo accounts that have posted from 77.188.65.82. Just wondering if we need to ban every single one of the 130+ dcoo accounts, if IP banning will thin that list first.
Once the IP is banned it will not carry over into the user accounts. The only time it is valid is if the user tries to register again, in that case they6 wont be able to
I thought that was the case, but figured I’d check before checking all of those IPs.
