Back to Business (normal service has resumed!)

YAY! I’m back online!

My Sky router arrived this morning and all I had to do was plug it into the pc and I’m online as you can see

Can’t believe how fast Sky sent out my router and got me connected! From what they told me on the phone, I thought it would be a minimum of 10 days!

It’s good to be back!

Chris here…

Hey Neil, welcome back! Keep me posted how you get on with Sky Broadband, and looking forward to chatting again soon!

Take care…

So far it’s excellent!

However the speed and quality differs between lines. I have no idea what your line quality is like.

But then you are currently getting your internet through an ADSL line anyway, so whatever speed you get now, I’d imagine Sky can at least match it. If you put your telephone number into the Sky site, it will tell you what packages you can get.

But I like it and at just £5 per month it’s perfect for me. I’m also on a faster speed than I was on Virgin Media.

Chris here…

Cool, thanks for the info, Neil! I shall pass that on to my Mum, I know that she’s very interested in what Sky are offering - at the moment we pay £21.99 per month for our broadband connection, so obviously if Sky were able to offer an equivalent service at that sort of money that would represent one heck of a saving!

Take care…

Well their top package is only £10 per month! (so your talking at least a £12 saving per month!!) :yikes:

They are extremely fast at sending out the router as well! It only took about 5 days after we ordered, for the router to arrive!

We go on Sky Talk this wednesday, so we get all our landline calls for just £5 per month as well. The only thing is you get charge after an hour, so if you want to keep the call free you’d need to hang up and call your friend back again. You can even call 10 international destinations for free as well as part of this plan!

It certainly pays to be a Sky TV customer
