While going through my collection this evening to get a good inventory of how many of which figures I have complete and what not I decided to look through the mini catalogs. I knew I had 3 different LJN mini catalogs, but I found there is at least 4 different ones.

The other 1986 one: Inside (Companions - Asteral Moat Monster) - identical to other. Outside - Mutant Fistpounder, Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress, Cat’s Lair, ThunderTank, front cover - identical to other.
Evil Mutants - Ratar-O has stickpins for sais, S-S-Slithe is a darker color, and “Mumm-ra and Ma-Mut” (Ma-Mutt is actually missing the 2nd t).
Good ThunderCats - “Cheetara and Wilykit”, “Lion-O and Snarf”, “Tygra and Wilykat”, Tuska Warrior has nearly solid black gun, Tygra is the old version, Snowman has the fancy shield.

Yeah the page I put up years back is a bit out dated and needs at least the 1985 catalogue adding. Hopefully it will receive an update in the not too distant future.
I’d love to see a scan of the alterante 1986 catalogue
(Short rant) It really irks me how fast I get logged out when typing a post. I had taken 5 minutes to type up a real response and it got lost cause I got logged out. Now that I got that out of my system…
I scanned the 85 and alternate 86 cat. last night, but failed to notice the scanner didn’t catch the top bar with any of the page titles on it. Do you have a preference for resolution, file type, dpi settings etc? I’ll give it another shot tonight.
I honestly can’t figure out which 86 cat. came out first, I’ll leave that puzzle for you.
I’ve not run into this problem myself, as I select ‘remember me’ when I login. I’m using firefox and anytime I come back to the forums I’m already logged in and I never get timed out or logged out.
It would be nice to share these catalogs aero, they were like extensive mini guides to LJN’s toys and i always loved flipping through them , i think the most interesting was the LJN Series 3 catalogue featuring the unreleased Feliner,Luna-Tacker, Mad Bubbler and Quick jaws. Also i like very much the orange and vibrant colours of each page.

I was writing one very lengthy post, i thing it was for the HH Lion-o statue review and suddenly i was logged out, wasting half an hour and having to rewrite it from scratch:lionomad:
No worries, once I get them scanned right (no parts chopped off) I’ll post them. I think there may be 2 versions of the US Series 3 cat… At least I thought I had 2 different ones like that as a kid, but my memory may be wrong. I’ll keep an eye out as I continue going through boxes of old stuff.
As for getting logged out, I never think to click the remember me box, and I have some wicked computer security, so even if I did check the box, as soon as I turn the computer off, it will forget all usernames, passwords, and even URLs I type in. But if you don’t anticipate being logged out already, you are up the creek without a paddle once you click Post Quick Reply.
