Astral Moat Monster Variation?

Hi All,
I have recently seen two variant Moat Monsters. One has the standard darker shade blue finish and the other has white claws and is a different shade of blue. Could this one be a prototype cause the white nail variant is the one pictured on the back the the original box? any help
