I believe all the images were on the WB computers or in their office files or something. So since he no longer works there he can’t get to them. He could probably draw new images with the designs, but really that’s too much to ask for a busy man to do for free.
Thanks for the clarification! I figured it probably had to do with leaving WB. Its a shame as it was really awesome to see all of those images!
I agree it would be a bit to ask to draw them again. I remember him claiming he is a Thundercats fan even before the 2011 series. I wonder if he still doodles Thundercats related artwork?
He is a fan. He did some artwork that was in the WildStorm Source book. In fact he also showed some sketches for Lion-O and Panthro back then in the book. The 2011 Lion-O was similar to Dan’s original design but less animal looking. Panthro is pretty much the same as his sketch except in the series he was larger.
Regardless of how busy someone is it really does not take that long to answer a couple questions. If he would even have the courtesy to say he does not wish to do it for whatever reason it would be better than not replying at all.
