Check them out! The Mumm-Ra’s Tomb was listed in this catalogue so it was definately released in the UK. We also have a retail price for it!
Still no sign of the Cats Lair playset. Perhaps it was in the Autumn/Winter 1988 catalogue as it’s a well known fact more toys are listed in the autumn/winter catalogues due to christmas. So if it ever appeared at Argos, it would definately have been in the winter 88 catalogue. This scan is from the Superstore catalogue so it shows every Thundercats toy Argos sold during summer 1988.
These images will need watermarking thoroughly when they go up as don’t want anyone stealing them. I have never seen any Argos catalogue scans of Thundercats toys on any other site so they are definately an exclusive for us.
I’m actually thinking about giving them a page of their own instead of burying them inside the Thundercats at UK retail page. I think they would be wasted if put inside that article. People might not realise we have them as well unless they are actually listed on the toy index page.

Seriously, these catalogue scans are amazing - like you suggest Neil, I too wonder whether you guys should have an article or even a mini-section devoted to nothing but “Catalogue Scans”, it seems like you have so many from both sides of the Atlantic!
I do have a suggestion and that is to make a Dealer Catalog/ Misc Catalogue or perhaps what about a Catalogue sub section. I agree that something like this should not be buried into the Thundercats at UK retail page
What I think I’m going to do is try and get cover scans of each catalogue and place them inside the Thundercats at UK Retail article and then to see the actual pages of Thundercats toys say “see the Thundercats at Argos page for the full scans”
I’m hoping to get Mail-Away Offers, Thundercats at UK Retail and the Argos scans all up within the next month or so.
Oh MannyC, could you give me a hand at editing the images for the Cardbacks page? I’d like to get them all cut out from the backgrounds and pasted onto a plain white background like you did with the scans you made of your 8-back cardbacks as those look excellent in the Cardbacks article Kyle has put together for me!
Thanks Neil…I will begin those cardbacks today and apply watermarks as well. Once i have them finished I will post on this thread…Im shooting for tomorrow to finish them off.
