I drop by their boards every once in a while either to post something or just to see what kinds of things they’re talking about.
I think though that our boards are now more active than theirs. When I go over there are very few new threads and posts, and if you look at how long ago most of the threads were last posted on… well its a couple days or longer for most of them.
Whereas our boards seem to be posted in every day… multiple posters too.
I think we may now be the most popular forum on the net for ThunderCats. I know EOT has more members than we do (like almost 10 times!), but I think we’re seeing more activity.
Now I know they have a shoutbox where regular members post hellos and random stuff, but as for on topic discussions I think we’re ahead.
It might have to do with the fact that we actually talk about ThunderCats on our boards. 8)
I think we’re more of a topical forum while EOT is more of a fan fiction forum. I would rather have the best of both worlds, but I’m not really into reading about Lion-O getting it on with Cheetara if you know what I mean. LOL.
I think we were voted most informative…not that those stupid fandom awards matter but bottom line we ARE becoming the one place were everyone is looking for news on the movie and thats BIG.
Either way you know TCL is still a very young website. Imagine when the movie gets released and new toys start pouring in. It will be a mad house
