With the Pop Culture Shock Lion-o available for display, the SDCC Lion-o present and most likely with the latest updates around the Thundercats 2011 series i wish i could go…

From what i’ve been reading, this Comic-Con is going to be one a hell of show with many special guests and a great number of attendees!
Definitely going to try to get as much ThunderCats coverage as I can for the site. I’ve gone through all the panels for the four days and I don’t see anything that says WB will be discussing the show. It’s a shame too because it would have been a good way to build up even more hype for the show.
Mattel did this with MOTU 200X by airing the series pilot two months before the actual series premiered on Cartoon Network.
The only reasoning I can think of for not teasing the show is that it will premiere after next year’s Comic Con which will let them do a full onslaught of ThunderCats news for the series and toys.
But I will be picking up my Lion-O mini-statue and hopefully meeting the guys behind Icon Heroes.
