Can anyone tell me why after coming out of the suspension capsules in Exodus Liono had grown into an adult but wilykit and wilykat hadn’t, i thought perhaps this was there full size until i read the return (they had grown) 
any theories?

The simplest explanation is his capsule malfunctioned and let him age, although that doesn’t account for the muscle.
All the Thundercats would have aged in the capsules according to jaga, i never understood where his muscle came from either (wonder if he went through puberty lol):liono
Doesnt Jaga say something to the effect that sometimes the ageing process does take place within the capsules? Lion-O remembers this when he looks at his reflection on Third Earth.
yes jaga says something along the lines of the capsules don’t stop the ageing process they just slow it down

so technically jaga was doomed from the word go cos they went to 3rd earth as it was the closest habital planet that they could reach (after the attack) so there original course would of been further away
how did jaga plan on making the trip?

I assume the damage to the ship slowed down its warp drive, broke its mega condenser or fuxxored it hyperdrive. Kinda like a Porche with a flat.

Panthro says that their navigational systems are shot, but that they “can maneuver some.” I took that to mean that they could no longer steer the ship very much and that the Milky Way was the only galaxy in their path. Maneuver as much as you can at the beginning, and aim for Third Earth.
As for Lion-O, doesn’t the Exodus script insinuate that the Eye is behind it?

I agree that the capsule might have malfunctioned, and that Lion-O recalls Jaga’s words about some aging taking place; but that doesn’t count the Eye out.
And then there’s that creepy fic scenario (I can’t remember the author…) about Jaga training Lion-O everyday like a maniacal Mr. Miagi… shudder

I always thought that the Sword was going to sleep until needed? Hence the closing of the eye. As for the pods, malfunction is the main reason, I always though Lion-O’s was defective and so he aged more so than Kit/Kat. As for the Muscle growth… well its a cartoon so you can’t have a nerdy weirdo as a hero of the Thundercats.
Although I last read it about 10+ years ago when it was first written and don’t remember the details, that sounds like JackalMann’s “The Blade”.
That was my gut, but I scanned it quickly and couldn’t find the scene I was thinking of. That’ll teach me to speed read!
I think the best answer is that its one of those things the writers never thought the kids watching the show would question.
