I’m suffering from a horrible cold, so I’ll try and keep this as short and sweet (by my standards! ;)) as I can manage - the update requested by Mark for his Animation Art Section is underway, courtesy of these new pages showcasing the cels he asked to be added to the Community Gallery:
I asked Kyle if it would be OK for me to have a go at doing those as an exercise, and he agreed - so, here they are! A huge thank you to the legend that is MannyF for doing a great job sizing these graphics and placing them atop the blue background - thanks to that and Kyle’s coding, creating these was actually not that hard!
Mark: I hope that these are OK for you, my friend. For the other updates to your section that you’ve requested I think it may be best if you see Kyle about that, just because of the two of us he’s the one most skilled in HTML, and therefore the one most likely to be able to fulfill your requests most accurately. However, this should give him a head start - like I say, I hope these are OK!
More updates from me to follow, including the start of the DC/Wildstorm subsection in the Comic Section, and some more stuff for the Cartoon Section (notably the Episode Guide)!
They look great Chris. I see an error on my part though – I used the wrong image to put on the blue background for the Panthro penciling. There is no watermark on that which means I mixed up the image when I was resizing it. I’ll fix that and just upload it to its current location.
LOL, can’t believe I didn’t spot that - thanks Manny! Yes please, if you could watermark the image and then replace the one there currently with the watermarked version, that’d be great - many thanks!
As much as I appreciate your work on this Chris, I think it would be easier for me to deal with only one html person for ongoing updates and maintenance…
So going forward I’ll work with Kyle on my section.
shrugs That’s cool, Mark, I’m sure if Kyle needs any assistance in the future adding pages to a pre-existing template such as I’ve done he’ll LMK, but by all means make him your point of contact for the HTML work for your section.
EDIT: How’s that for two minds attuned to each other - we both responded at once!
