I’m an old school fan from the 80’s. I have all the cartoons on DVD but have yet to watch them all (soon… soon…)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]I’m a fan of not just Thundercats but GI Joe, Transformers, He-man etc. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]Right now, the main focus of my collection (now that I have all the toons) from each property is complete collections of all comics. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]My 80’s Star/Marvel Thundercats Collection is NEARLY complete! Would you believe after all this time, I THOUGHT the Star Series ended at issue 12 or 13???[/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]Heck, I remember back in 1986 going to my FIRST comic book store in Los Angeles (I’ve always lived in TX, so this was a vacation of the life time… two weeks ALL over Cali!) and asking if they had Thundercats #1. The store owner explained, “no, and if we did it would be VERY expensive”.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]So, a week or so later on the tour in San Fran or some other place, we stopped at another comic store where I GRABBED Thundercat’s 1 (and maybe 2 and 3?) for $5 each! [/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]I was already into the toon heavily! And this trip got me into comic books.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=4]My interest in comic books comes and goes, but I’ve ALWAYS held a soft place in my heart for my classic 80’s years of the WONDERFUL world of Thundercat’s![/SIZE]

Welcome to the forums, and thanks for sharing that fantastic story with us! 
I’ve always been a huge fan of the ThunderCats comics - when I was a kid, one of the things that got me into ThunderCats was when my cousins gave me a small pile of UK ThunderCats comics that they’d finished with. I still remember my Uncle Steve reading me one of the comics!

Thanks for sharing! Was wondering how many issues of the UK series there are and what are they like? I am JUST now hearing about these UK comics to these 80 Icon series. The only one I ever had heard of as a kid was Action Force (GI JOE). In the past few years, I’ve been interested in reprints of Transformers. Now, I’m finding out about Masters of the Universe and Thundercats?? I had NO idea! Might be hard to track them all down (as they aren’t listed on comic book sites as for sale) but I’d like to read them all (in paper format… not on a screen… I love paper… hehe).
