Here is a picture of myself and my college Hotel/Resort Management class. Behind us is the Bethlehem Steel Plant that was closed down many years ago. My father worked at that steel mill for 17 years till 1982. Bethlehem Steel has a huge history, it was one of the largest steel plants in the United States. During WWII, that steel mill produced several US war ships. That plant has also produced steel in the Golden Gate Bridge, several skyscrapers in New York and it was the Bethlehem Steel that invented the “I” beam, before that, it was regular steel beams and because of that, you could only make buildings only 20 stories high, but with the introduction of the “I” beam, you could make the buildings as tall as you wanted.

I’m the woman all the way to the left, kneeling down, wearing glasses and a black suit.
One thing I don’t like about this picture was the suit I am wearing, I’m drowning in it because I lost so much weight. But losing weight is a heck of a lot better than gaining it. I wore that suit for a few personal reasons, the first being in honor of my father and he worked at that plant for so many years, I wore the suit that I wore during his funeral. It was a tribute to him, secondly, it was cold and rainy that day so I didn’t want to wear a skirt 
This picture is of a new restaurant called the “Steelstax” that was made from converting an old Bethlehem Steel building. It has four floors, two cinemas, two concert stages and many other great things. My class and I had the privilege in touring this new facility two weeks before it opened.
I have oodles. But to start us off, this is RIGHT on the boarder of RI and MA, so I’m going to include it anyways. Its called Purgatory Chasum. Not kidding. Sounds like a place on Third Earth right? Family guy makes a joke about it too.

Both pictures taken by me with my cool panaramic feature on my camera. the place is AMAZING! We love to go with my dog because he jumps around like a damned mountain goat and the kids love to watch him.
Now this is Beaver Tail State Park. This is the ‘beach’ we go too, seeing alot of the real beaches are not dog friendly and well we take them everywhere with us. It has a lighthouse, a small aquarium, (Like..a shack ahah) and nice grassy feilds above while below is rocky cropping and sweet ocean. We go swimming in this little inlet with Gavin all the time.
