Hey everyone I just received the 8 back Lion o with battery offer and Stinger today. Not so happy about the Lion O’s grade which received a AFA 60 (card 75,bubble 60, figure 75) but needless to say it still looks really nice and being such a rare figure i cant complain much.On the other hand the Stinger received a overall grade of 80 (card 80,bubble 80, figure 90) awesome subgrades to say the least.I’ll post pics tonight
that lion-o is that the one they had on actionfigures.com oh well still nice to have one but 80 on the stinger is good.
thinking of geting my driller graded but not sure every thing on it looks perfect but there is a small 2mm crack on the very bottom underneath where the weird bit sticks out I didnt notice it for a while so not sure if that would bring the grade down what do you reckon and I live in the uk so that could be a bit of a hassle.
Also received my pumyra afa 80 today super stoked on this one. see every thing on my driller looks better than the pumyra all except that little crack.
Also havent received my 8 back mumra with battery yet but I did only pay on the weekend looking foward to that one.
It is indeed the lion o with battery they had on www.actiontoys.com and the ones that have seen www.actiontoys.com know that it wasnt exactly cheap.Im wlling to trade the lion o for a moc mummra with battery offer.See marketplace for thread on the trade.As far as Driller goes i would send it in if i was you, costs would be higher on the shipping portion but not much can be done since its overseas. Did the Lion-o have a crack in the bubble or seperation? I am wondering why the 60? The stinger looks really nice in the case.
Unfortunately yes there was a crack on the bubble on the right side. Its not too bad considering its an 8 back that was released in very limited numbers and its 20+ years old.Overall it displays very nice indeed
I figured it was a crack or something to that matter. I am trying to keep track of how they are grading things to kind of have an idea before I send in certain things. I know that certain things like a crack with automaticaly make the score a 60.
so do you think the little crack on my driller will make it a 60 it is only a couple mm and every thing else appears flawless comparing it to my afa 80 pumyra
A couple of millimiters, i seriously doubt it will drop to a 60. The crack on mine were like 3 cm running from top to bottom on right side. If anything i think the bubble will grade a 75. Post pics of it, i got a decent eye on the grading process.I predicted the lion o as a 60-70 and the stinger at 80 or above. Both figures were in that ballpark
