Really I don’t think there is much we can do Manny. All participants are responsible for transactions outside the protection of Ebay. The forum clearly states that. We can only make sure people are aware of what happened here on this forum.
What I plan to do is wait for Jaga to get his money back from his CC company and then once we know that he has, lock the thread and then perhaps post it as a sticky. That way we are not taking sides and others can see what has happened themselves by reading the thread.
Adam has had plenty of opportunity to defend himself there, which as far as I know he hasn’t. So we’ll just let others decide on whether they trade with him or not based on that thread posted by Jaga
On a more positive note, I’m really happy that the transaction you had for the catalogue went really well Manny! I’m so glad you own that catalogue with all the cool prototypes in and you will be making it a part of the site! 
Purely off the record, I think it was a very wise decision buying it through Ebay 
Well i needed to cover all bases as far as getting protected in case something happened. Thanks though for everyone that warned me about him so i could take the proper precautions.He’s lost business here already, a bad rep is the worst thing that could happen to him and he already has that
Neil is correct. All we can do is inform future traders/buyers/sellers about him. If I recall correctly, Celesta warned us about him when he first joined the board so that was my first indication as to his dealings.
Lets hope things do get resolved, it is indeed possible that the package is just taking a little longer. My transaction with him couldnt have been better. In fact communication was perfect throughout and everything went smooth.Im not taking sides but I’d hate for someone to get a bad rep because a package got held up for some reason.
The bottom line is that you don’t send a MOC Pumyra (heck any carded Thundercats figure) via uninsured mail.
Pumyra is worth a lot of money and insurance couldn’t have been that much extra. With accepting Paypal, Adam should have known better.
The problem is we have heard all this before from Celesta. This reputation Adam is getting is nothing new to us. I just hope Jaga gets his money back through a chargeback. However if he has accepted a refund of $58 wouldn’t that stop the chargeback going ahead? :?
I’m no expert at these things as I’ve never had to do a chargeback through Paypal luckily!
I know Adam and have listened to warnings from more than one person, he has a bad reputation. He’s a Canuck and is giving us a bad reputation!
I guess i got lucky after all in having a perfect transaction with him. I pretty much took all precautions to make sure i didnt get ripped off. I asked him to make an ebay auction for the item and he did. Asked him for tracking info and he did too. Chances of me getting ripped off i think IMO were slim but only because i took precautions knowing the bad rep he has. Something weird is going on because he got good feedback froma transaction with matt. Why would he go and rip off one person and have 2 perfect transactions here on the board.
