One more online…Rataro with silver daggers

Im working on Cat’s Lair but i will need minor help from Kyle or Manny in the following:

–Where it says Skycutter on top i need one that says Cats’ Lair

–On the viewer where it says Sight Beyond Sight Vehicle Viewer it needs to be Sight Beyond Sight Playset Viewer

Here is the only things i need to work on and I will be able to have it online:

  1. Cats’s Lair tag
  2. Sight beyond sight playset viewer tag
  3. Add descriptions

After the tags are done i should be able to have it online in no time. Here is the link to see the current progress http://www.thundercatslair.org/toys/catslair1/

Sorry for the back to back post but perhaps i can take a crack at some of the comic pages as well. Chris i know some of the covers are not watermarked so I can perhaps watermark them and begin working on those as well. I’m not going to be able to produce multiple pages on a weekly basis but i can definitely try to do 1-2 pages/ week. Let me know if this is cool with you perhaps we can briefly discuss that tonight on the meeting. My main concentration is the toy section and I am trying to get as much of the toy guide completed as i can, as that is one if not the main area for the toys but i can definitely try fitting some of the comics into the schedule :wink: Let me know if this is cool with you. In order to start on them i will need thinsg like the notes of interest,synopsis and review

I’ll have a word with Kyle about it (bearing in mind he’s now in charge of the HTML side of the Comic Section), but if he’s cool with that suggestion then I’m cool with it too! :slight_smile: I’ve currently made a start writing up the DC/Wildstorm issues (see the Comic Section folder in the staff directory, you’ll find #'s 0, 1 & 2 all written up in there), and there should be more following very soon. :slight_smile:

Don’t forget of course that the image of each cover on each comic’s page links to a larger image of the cover, so that’s something that would also need doing - but, the way you’re getting to grips with this HTML stuff, I reckon you could handle that! :wink:

I’m sure we’ll be able to squeeze a few minutes to discuss this at tonight’s meeting! :slight_smile:

I’m really pleased to see this amazing section online, MannyC - you’ve been working hard! :slight_smile:

My one question is, going to the main page of that, should the words “Standard of Integrity” be there at the end of the first paragraph, as they look slightly out of place? :slight_smile: I’m referring to the end of this paragraph:

“Action Figure Authority (AFA) was formed due to the large amount of over grading that exists in the action figure market. This over grading only brings problems and frustration to its collectors. Dealers, collectors and investors of action figures have no universal standard by which to judge. They all use their own definitions and standards to grade items. One mint c-10 item is completely different from another. Until now! Standard of Integrity”

Other than that, looks great - do you own all of those pieces yourself? I know you told me you have the Ben-Gali and the Stinger, are the other two yours as well? :slight_smile:

Thanks for noting the last few words of that paragraph, i totally didnt see it but it will get fixed. As far as the pieces go all those are actually mine and hopefully i can send some more in the near future.

That’s excellent - perhaps a little ways down the road you could post a thread on the Boards encouraging other ThunderCats collectors to display their AFA graded ThunderCat pieces in our gallery too? (Wouldn’t it be cool to have the highest-graded Ben-Gali, as well as the second highest-graded, displayed on our site?!) :slight_smile:

I actually know who owns the highest graded Bengali in existence and have contacted him before to provide pictures but no luck :frowning: Maybe since the museum is now online he will be more willing to provide pictures.
