You know about Mattel’s purchase of the ThunderCats license, don’t you? Well, Mattel had the license to another 1980s favorite, Hallmark Cards’ Rainbow Brite, between 1984 and 1986. Both franchises are enjoying a little resurgance this century. If you don’t know what RB is, here’s the Wikipedia page for it:

I’ve watched the original RB cartoon on YouTube and enjoyed it. I’ve also seen the movie Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer on Netflix and enjoyed it as well. All this got me thinking about doing a crossover between T’Cats and RB that’s set during T’Cats’ second season (the one with the three new ThunderCats and the Lunataks of Plun-Darr) and after the end of RB. I’ll reveal the plot of the crossover if you happen to love RB.
