Dan Norton just confirmed on his FB that the show is a go for at least 52 episodes. Looks like we’ll be seeing Lion-O and the gang for a while to come!

I hope it get’s more though. At least so the story is resolved in a way so that we the viewers and the creators are satisfied. They probably CAN end at 52 but much more could be done with let’s say… 80-100?

Yeah, especially with the long breaks between episodes like we just experienced. Could take years to get through them all. 
This the best news I’ve heard tonight. Perhaps if the show is a success, we’ll probably see a greater amount of episodes in the future.
Why not 130?
That’s what the original series ran (2 production runs of 65 episodes each), and that’s the typical upper limit for successful children’s cartoons (5 seasons of 26 episodes each).
Granted, you could argue that the original series was a couple of dozen episodes too long…
ben 10 has had 9 seasons so far with 150 episodes (not to mention the movies). we can hope Thundercats will last as long.
We would had that many seasons of Teen Titans and Justice League if the higher-ups didn’t decide to end them for something else. So lets hope that this show does last for awhile and get some dang character developement for characters other Lion-o and Panthro.
I agree and hope the quality of the stories stays as good as they are now.
Don’t get hooked up on numbers. I really want the show to go on, but i also want a show full of story and adventure. So far certain episodes as just been… Felt like fillers. I don’t want that, if i really did i would watch a long running anime like Naruto, Bleach or anything of the similar stuff.
If 52 episodes is all they get, then fair enough i hope they make the best of it. Some shows end cause they can’t continue the story, i know they do have more and can make more if they are able to (if i’m not mistaken as i read that somewhere).
