I have added 4 more pages for the Toy Guide…Stilt Runner, Luna Lasher, Thunderwings and Sword of Omens. Basically the whole Toy Guide is finished with the exception of 2 things and also some minor editing with pics. Overall its basically done…please view updated list here: http://thundercatslair.org/forums/showthread.php?t=1425 updated items are in red. Tomorrow I will make the formal announcement.
Manny could you wait on the announcment? Perhaps we could announce the Toy Variations section at the same time? If we get a couple more variations pages completed we can definately launch this section.
I don’t think it’s worth waiting until all pages are done because that could take ages, besides we will still be adding any new variations that we find.
How is the Lion-o figure comparison pics going?
As for the updated pages:
Sword of Omens: could you display the MIB image sideways and make it bigger? I think it would look better as I think it’s too small. Can you also watermark the image as well?
Stilt Runner: viewer title needs changing as it’s spelt Stilt Walker
Also the MIB pic isn’t very good. Might I suggest scanning the box cover? just lay the box face down on your scanner and it should come out good (if you can, could you do the same with the Thunderwings MIB?. I did it with my Luna Lasher a while back to make pics of the purple Mumm-Ra figure. I can do the Luna Lasher again if you want me to? I just think the MIB images would look clearer.
Luna Lasher: the pics in the viewer are different sizes. I’d keep them all the same size, otherwise it looks odd.
Oh, noticed one more thing. On the main index page of the toy guide, the Nosediver entry is out of alignment.
Oh and did you get around to taking a pic of Ratar-o with the silver sias?
Let me know what you think about those suggestions.
Chris here…
LOL, in my “Chris the Nit-Picker” mode I’d just been about to point out everything that Neil just said - I didn’t think to look to see if anyone had replied to this thread!! ![]()
Apart from those minor tweaks that Neil’s suggested (which I agree with), I think those pages look great - it’s exciting to see the Toy Section edging ever closer to completion! ![]()
Neil: Any chance I could see what you guys have been working on so far with the Variations? I’m always interested to learn which versions of the figures I have in my collection - like I said, I never realised there were any differences! ![]()
EDIT: Just to add, as well as the Nosediver entry being out-of-alignment on that list, I think I may have mentioned before but the first word of the sub-menu below our logo/main header displays for me on the same line as the logo, forcing the logo off-center. Is this able to be fixed? ![]()
Just so you guys can see, this is what I’m seeing for that page on my computer:

Take care… ![]()
Well I think you might have seen everything so far already. The ones done are:
-Tuska Warrior
-Tuska Warrior’s Rifle
-Jackalmans shoulder strap (though the Playful version needs adding, which is what I’ll do next)
I got permission from that person who was selling the Playful Jackalman on Ebay, to use all his pics from that auction! ![]()
Then next up, I hope to get Lion-o’s pages (figure and weapons) done and that will probably be enough to launch the Toy Variations sub-section.
I think I corrected it. Let me know if it’s ok now Chris.
EDIT: Also had a go at correcting the Nosediver alignment, but I can’t figure out what the problem is. I’m afraid someone else who has a lot more html knowledge will have to look into that.
The sword of omens page is watermarked, picture is bigger and sideways now, Stilt Runner viewer has been changed from Walker to Viewer. Pics on the Thunderwings has been changed to show a higher wuality pic. Also Luna Lasher pics have been made edited so all show almost the same size.
Here are the 4 pages that are done:

We can certainly wait for the Variations section to have a little bit mnore content and then we can launch it
