Well there are theories that the original and new version are in some way related to each other. However, that was quickly debunked after the book of omens episode, revealing the happenings of mummrah and the different race’s origins on their planet.[/B]

IS it true that people are stupid enough to think and believe that? Howdoe sit make sense? It would not have made any sense what so ever. Thundera in the OS was a planet that got destroyd, there Lion-O was a KID. He was a KID before he left Thundera. In the NS he is a TEENAGER and Thundera is a kingdom now.

It’s like one guy i saw on a Pokémon forum who stated the new series “Best wishes” was a reboot. Oh my god…

Not entirely sure what the top section of this post (the bit in bold) relates to, is this from another thread or something? :confused:

I must confess I was very surprised that there were fans who think the new series is a prequel to the original, I would have thought it was very, very obvious that this is a reboot, as there are just too many things that have been changed from the original to the reboot (such as Mumm-Ra being from the same planet, the ThunderCats already being on Third Earth, etc., etc.). :slight_smile:

So yeah, I won’t lie that it befuddles me as well - but, please let’s keep it civil and stray away from referring to these people who think that as “stupid”. :wink: Thanks! :slight_smile:
