Hi fellow fans. I made a custom 4 inch Thundercats 2011 Bengali from a Tygra. I made the hammer from a part of the Tower of Omens and the rest came from an Imaginex weapon that came with the terradacto Dinosuar bird. The leg holder came from Tygras gun holster. It was really hard to paint because the toy is so small. I will eventually make a Pumyra from Cheetara and Lynx-o from a Claudis. Let me know what you think. Peace out…

Totally sweet! I would have loved to have seen Bengali make an appearance in the NS.

What kind of paint did you use?

I used acrylic paints and sealed it with podgy.

Out of curiosity, how would oil based enamel paints work for things like this? Someone recently gave me a bunch of paint that they have used for painting models.

Oil paint can be used for sure. Oil based is a stronger paint than acrylic but i dont use it because i cant stand the smell. As well clean up is messy, you need paint thinner or turpentine. Acrylic is safer. If you have children in the house acrylic is non toxic as safe.

If you use oil or lacquer paints be careful because the thinner can sometimes melt plastic. Just research what you use. And don’t forget primer.

Thanks for the kind feedback on my custom. I did start a 2011 lynx-o but I will have to scupt a bit of the head. Pumyra will take a long tine to complete because the cheetara im using for it will have to be sanded and scupted quite a bit. I wont be making another begali any time soon but if i do i will PM you guys.
