4th Update
thanks to those who took my advice and dug into past archives, and my own incursion into the land of nostalgia, the best of decade awards have been fleshed out but god lord it’s barely the tip of the iceberg. so I’m asking that those ancient writers out there among us to feel free and self nom. I know that EOT had/has? an issue with its fanfiction archive so I’m asking those folks to take a gander at other fanfiction archives for nomination inspiration. at ff.net, if you include all ratings, you’ll find at least a page and half of stories eligible (FYI my reposts at ff.net are totally ineligible for regular awards). also at Purrsia’s archive and I’m sure Cheezey updated hers. also, look for LJ’s and other alternative sources. and, again, feel free to self-nom, think of this as free advertising in case you’re a newbie or whatnot.
also - all authors with nominations in the regular awards are automatically placed in the author of the year category.
I’m extending a nominator’s maximum number of nominations per category to ten.
and, to re-iterate what I said earlier, nominations are extended until March 28.
there’s been a whole lot of progress and I thank everyone who helped - more can be done though!
