Check out this you tube video of the Christmas Season circa 1986 at FAO Swartz in NYC. Most of its blah toys for girls but I still get a kick out of watching this stuff and guess what’s on some of those shelves… MOTU, Castle Greyskull, Eternia playset and yes Thundercats!!! I’m SOOO giddy!!! I’v never seen so many Swords of Omens at once lol!
Man that was great. The wall of Thundercats and MOTU items is a sight to behold.
Wow I remember those days. Funny how what was brand new and innovative then is just expected and old now. You see a talking doll on the shelf these days and don’t think twice about it. I really loved seeing the Sword of Omens and MOTU stuff in the backround towards the end.
