I deffinately watched most of those shows when I was a kid, but I can say in all honesty that I really don’t care to see reboots of any of them.
Gem? I loved that show as a kid but haven’t given it a thought in years. Can someone remind me why Gem had to have a secret Identity? I don’t remember her having super powers or being a super hero. As an adult looking back now, I just don’t see why a singer would have to hide who she really is.
It had to do with the fact that the computer that created her alter ego was made by her father, and he died before it could be patented. He was worried about the technology falling into the wrong hands, so she kept it a secret and used it to make herself a rock star.
Wow. You know, that sounds really silly written out, but it made perfect sense back then!

Also if Eric Raymond Jerrica’s nemesis, had found out she had formed her own band, he might have accused her of cheating to win the Battle of the Bands contest. It was for ownership of Starlight Music. Coming from him though, it’s ironic.
Watched Jem a few times back in the 80s and never realized what a fanbase she had. But what’s old is new these days. Everything is getting revamped endlessly ad nauseum.
At least with the TCs this has actually worked out to be a good thing. I have to say that I’m very pleased with the new series so far. :liono
Not a cartoon, but I think they could do a lot if they made a new “Out of this World” series. I loved that show, where the girl learned on her 16th birthday that her father was an alien and that she had the power to freeze and unfreeze time. You could do so much with that.
I would like to see a She-Ra: Princess of Power reboot. I thought in someways, it was better than He-Man: Masters of the Universe. I would like to see Voltron, Robotech, Star Blazers, He-Man, She-Ra all come to the big screen.

He-Man did come to the big screen. I remember the movie years ago. Starred the guy who played Tom Paris in Star Trek Voyager as the human guy who helped He-Man. Obviously they’d have better special effects if they did a movie today.
I think it would be neat to see a reboot combo of He-Man and She-Ra. As I recall, there was an episode where Adora and Adam found each other. I think teaming them up would be more fun than them having their own separate shows.
well they had plenty of teamups in the 80s toons including the intro secret of the sword movie feature the five parter sword of shera which had mor aditional lines and scenes then the movie, the christmas special and i believe another maybe 10 or so ep crossovers
