You already know that’s what bothered me the most

I mean, having him written off of the last 20 eps or so was already hard to process (I watched all of those eps expecting to see him, either in a visit to NT or in Third Earth, at least for 2 mins), but not having him (and Pumyra) in the very last episode of the series was really frustrating. I was so mad, angry and sad then (and still a little lol).

My one gripe

It’s sort of two gripes in one really. It’s the Lion-O-centric format of the show and the magic ability of the catchphrase to suddenly fix everything that’s required. This was especially the case in the later series, but the series 1 episode that best embodies both these downsides is “Mechanical Plague”. “Tight Squeeze” and “Monkian’s Bargain” are guilty of it as well.
