Just in that they never seemed to acknowledge it. I never once heard Kat call Kit “sis” or anything like that. They could have just as easily been unrelated the way they acted in the old show. It seems to me in the new show that their bond as siblings seems tighter, like they’re all that they have until they met up with Lion-O and co. That they go around and tease each other, as well as working in tandem to fool people, really brings that bond out.
My sister and I are kind of the same way. We weren’t twins, but as kids we teased each other, and when all was said and done we still loved each other. Also when we get together as a team, watch out! (And like Kat and Kit, she was always the smarter, savvier one and I was kind of the clumsy geek). 
I could’ve sworn I saw a scene of the OS fairly recently where WilyKit called him “little brother” while they were racing on spaceboards and she was in the lead, teasing him about falling behind.
Or wait… maybe that was in the Wildstorm comics? I did read all of them recently, too.

Oh. I agree. I think they do display a closer bond with each other in this new series. They were referred to as “twins” in the OS, I think by Mumm-Ra, but they did always call each other by their names. My brother calls me sis, though I’ve always called him by his name. I think “sis” rolls off the tongue better than “bro” and “brother” and “sister” sound very old-fashioned to say out loud in addressing someone.
My niece and nephew called each other “brother” and “sister” instead of “bro” and “sis” when they were younger. I thought it was kinda cute.

Agreed, and the way they’ve been animated in their scenes has just been totally nailed perfectly making them even more fun to watch and they’ve also had some of the best lines and moments so far.
I hope so too, always loved that in the old series too, and they’ve been a blast to watch already so I can only imagine how great it’s going to be, I can’t wait to see them start to take out some enemies with whatever tricks/moves/gadgets etc the staff has in mind.
Yeah, I’m so looking forward to it, I can’t wait to see what they’re planning.
I’m also looking forward to seeing what tricks they have up their sleeves. I’m hoping there’ll be more variety than the usual gas pellets and inflatable animals we saw on the OS.
From what I saw of the Bandai toys, in addition to their Space Boards, Kit has what looks like a chakram that’s probably based on her flute while Kat has appears to be either grappling claws or waldoes. Both look pretty cool.

WilyKat hasn’t used his bag of tricks either. In fact, I haven’t seen WilyKit play her flute since the first three episodes. Are they now doing away with it in favor of the bag of tricks? I hope not. The flute is a good addition to the tricks.

Oh, yeah, I faved this one on deviantART (where it’s located). I’m colorizing a lineart drawing with a similar theme and I’m going to post it on DA, where I’m registered. Just so you guys know, the lineart isn’t mine. It was done by another artist who’s a professional character designer for an animation company located in Malaysia. I asked her permission to color it and she gave it.
Very much looking forward to your art! Be sure to link it in this thread! I check for new deviations every day.. there have been some very excellent ones for sure. Not enough of the twins though.
