Awesome deal. I never even knew it existed until several years ago. I’ve never gone that high on an item. The two most expensive items I ever bought was a Transformers Brave Maximus MISB £350 from South Korea and a Blitzkrieg Combination Dai-X loose nearly complete for around £300…it was cheaper but I ended up having to pay £70 on customs duty.
That’s definitely more than I could afford now, but it sounds absolutely amazing. Is that your most treasured piece?

No. I have a small collection of 8 figures, the Sword and the dutch ThunderCats #1 comic. I got those items from my family some 25 years ago. The root of .my collection, so to speak. Those are my most treasured pieces.
The Tongue-A-Saurus is a very cool piece and I’ve always told myself that if it happened to pop-up for a descent price, I’d go for it. And I did

That’s awesome! I completely agree as my childhood figures are my most prized as well!!
Technically it was a good deal at the time if it had been as described, but as soon as it arrived it was missing a small piece (side ramp on the body) which greatly affected its value. :mad: More than value though it just really annoyed me spending so much money on something and it not being right and the seller not responding to me so no chance of getting a refund or returning it etc.
The Dai-X also did not live up to my expectations of how awesome it would have been. Both were items I always wanted to have in my collection the most and ironically they ended up being the items I cared least about and sold inside two years after purchasing them.
Is Thundercats the only items you collect?
I know what you mean. The first few ThunderCats figures and items that my dad bought for me are also my most prized possessions. 
Sounds like a pretty good bargain (way out of my budget though! ;)) I recently saw a boxed Tongue-a-Saurus on EBay with a Buy it now price of around £900.

My most expensive item has to be the full-size metal sword of omens. Cost £95 at a London comic con, bit of a struggle carrying it home that day!
I have it hung on my wall, but i have a cool idea for a better display for it…

Very nice piece.
Well, I collect other stuff, mostly odds and ends from different lines. Items I had as a kid or always wanted but never got. Or just just cause their awesome 
Stuff like
vintage Star Wars cantina and Jabba’s palace characters, TMNT basic characters, test-shots and Raphael figures, Jeff Smith’s Bone collectables, some He-Man & MOTU stuff. Some GI Joe’s, some marvel characters. And the odd 80’s/90’s toylines that are easy to come by as a set, like Bucky O’ Hare or Ghostbusters. And a wide range of mini figures and whatnot But my main focus is and always will be ThunderCats.

I will also look forward to it. I used to collect lots of stuff but I have very little left anymore. Lately though I have been tempted to start again as there is lots of stuff I am interested in I would like to get again and start collecting. Especially some of the new stuff coming out.
I just spent 600 on a boxed complete cats lair with a flawless box

There was someone on here recently looking to buy a boxed Cats Lair.
My biggest Thundercats purchase (and my most valuable piece) was my 8-back Cheetara with no Wilykit. Haven’t seen another one in my decade+ of collecting.
