I am currently mourning the loss of most of the next section of my ThunderCats fan fic I wrote. It will be deeply missed, you know, until I rewrite it.
Relaxing @ home after a long day of work.
Well, I’ve been replaying a few old favorite games I got from GOG. com, including a Horror-themed FPS called Blood, and a couple of classic Ultima RPGs they just released this week for free: The Savage Empire and Martian Dreams.
I’ve also rediscovered swimming. I used to do a lot of it as a kid, but didn’t have much time for it in my teen and adult years. Lately however I’ve been using the condo’s swimming pool a lot, and I remembered how much I used to love the water. The sense memory kicked in and those old muscles have been firing up again! Recently I invested in a good pair of swim goggles so I could refine my style.
I’m back from Wal-Mart, where I scored a Thundertank for only $7. 
Trying to figure out how to turn facebook notifications off my phone. I don’t care if fifty people want me to send them sliced, diced, something in cafe world… Oh the horror!:mad:
LOL the only games I play on FB are Treasure Isle and Avengers Alliance. I’m considering dropping the first and adding Gardens of Time since it’s a find the hidden object game which I like.
I’m currently working out and wishing I didn’t have to.
Is waiting patiently for my new RC Short-Course Truck to be shipped to me. After my current one just died on me.
I’ve been waiting for three weeks for this computer software for my DAW to show up, and I ordered it on express 3-day delivery. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund and the company won’t give me my $150 back. :lionomad:
That sucks. Well I had about $600 into my old RC which cost $500 stock so yea. But I lucked out and got my new one for just about 1/2 price. So my old one is now just a parts RC Truck.. HAHA.
Ah, the woes of computer upgrades! Whether it be software or hardware-related. I feel your pain.
I decided to give my own rig a little boost recently, and upped my system RAM from 6 GB to 8 GB. I ordered from Newegg, and the RAM sticks came within the next 48 hours (must have a distribution center somewhere near me). I installed them after I got them, and so far so good!
Right now, I’m a very happy kitty because Slithor’s mom sent us an awesome package from Omaha Steaks. It pretty much stuffed our freezer.
So I finished packing for my hiking trip on Saturday. I will be hiking the Swiss Alps (Via Alpina) for the next 5 days starting on the 30th. One more item to cross off my bucket list.

Multi-tasking: Doing a fanfic, house cleaning, and enjoying the B-side tracks of my favorite band, Anberlin. They really need to put them out on a CD.
Working on my fanfic too! How is yours coming along? I’m releasing part six of mine today even though I’m currently writing part eleven.

I’ve gotten about 2 pages so far. I like my writing style (the thesaurus is the golden goose,) but I’m concentrating on parts I know I can write. I’m kind of doing bits and pieces of the fic as it comes to me until I’m finished with the final product, which includes revising. What I need is a cause and a villain(s) for the small group I’m thinking about. Worried about it being kitsche and people barfing at the OCs I made, but then again, why should I be worried?
I had the same problem (along with having to rewrite it because Pumyra was good in the original draft). What helped me was mapping out what would happen in quick little bullet points. Just writing an overall summary then filling in the gaps helps too, which I guess is what you’re doing.
I’m posting from the library and wish I’d brought my laptop with me. On the other hand, it’s nice to read without being interrupted by my 2 favorite pests. 
I walked home today from work because of car problems. Then, on the side walk I saw a fat grey cat eating a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. Made my f***ing day. I wish I had my camera but my phone has busted lense.
Just had to give my dog a bath cause she thought it would be fun to go play in the swamp behind my house. EERRRR:mad:
