I totally agree with this! Like Larry Kenney said, she looks like a ho (a prostitute). I could take the wild hairdo. But the way they changed the color around her eyes and the clothes she wears, she looks like a hooker, provacatively dressed with bad make-up. And being super skinny makes her look even more the part and sickly. The original Cheetara was somewhat classy and I don’t see that at all in the new design. They could have gotten rid of the orange color on her face. It’s really not that indicative of a real cheetah. It would make morse sense to make it white around her mouth and give her orange and spots for the rest of her face. Not to mention the black streaks that go down from the inside of their eyes along their noses…

I’m fine with her having bangs. I’m thinking they just did that to differentiate their hairstyles a little more. Most of the T-cats have their hair brushed straight back. And I’m cool with her being thinner as well. She’s a runner. She should be lithe and slim.
I don’t like her outfit, but I never liked her original outfit either. Let’s be honest. The original was just a simple leotard. There wasn’t much to it.
It’s different tho. The original Cheetara had those markings around her eyes going down her cheeks to a point. Nobody does make-up that way and Tygra had orange on his face so it never really stood out to me. The new Cheetara looks like really bad eye makeup. Kinda looks emo to me. 
Bangs are ok with me.
And that makes sense to me. But something about her just looks sickly looking to me for some reason.
Also in the original, it wasn’t that much different than what others wore. Tygra wore essentially the same kind of thing as Cheetara. Lion-O wore speedos with a tank top showing his belly (guess we needed to see his abs to know he was strong) and Panthro wore a speedo with spiky suspenders. (Wha?!) Poor Wilykat had to wear a dress. Guess we could call it a toga to give him some manliness in that, or maybe a kilt? And Wilykit was a child with a sexy pull off her shoulder. I never thought about any of this as a kid. I wonder what the artists were thinking. Maybe they were just trying to have them dress in a totally unique kind of way?
I like the Old facial markings better too, but i’m just saying her new eye markings have precedence. There was probably some reason why they didn’t want the old style and she just wouldn’t look like Cheetara without ANY markings, and I think this was their compromise.
Tunic

I really get the impression that Cheetara’s new look is based on men who were boys in the 1980’s who had fantasies about Cheetara so they redesigned her to fit their fantasy image.
That’s my theory. 
She looks like a scout to me. Backpack and pouches, dressed in browns.
I’m also gonna throw out a theory I haven’t heard yet. I imagine the “braclets” on her wrists and ankles to be removable training weights. She keeps them on and trains her body to move with the extra weight so that when she really needs the extra speed she can take them off and feel lighter.
I was a scout and I dressed in brown. I didn’t dress like that.
I wouldn’t think training weights. If they’re weights, I would imagine it would be in relation to some aspect of her weight and speed and needing a little more weights. Which actually doesn’t seem to make much sense. Maybe there’s another function for them. Didn’t we see Tygra with something around his wrist?
