I thought the staff made a big point to stress they weren’t going by the comics?
If they do, it’d be like the staff holding up a big banner that says “don’t believe a word we say” and further alienate a lot of the fanbase.
I could see them bringing in some background characetrs from the original series and fleshing them out more but I can’t really see them going to the comics; it’s just too risky.
Most of the crew have said they’ve never even read any of the comics so don’t count on any comic-exclusive characters to be in the show.

if you had been offered to drop season 2 since a very large film company has asked to purchase the rights of the Thundercats in order to produce a live action movie, or a 3D animated flick, or say HBO or AMC wanted to produce a show of their own, would you accept it?
do you, by any chance, plan to kill or maim any other main characters in the future?
will Liono be seen as a grown up thundercat in season 2? and if so, will there be a replacement in the cast for Will Friedle?
how do you see the show in the future in terms of charecter development?

one last question for the writing staff. (my appologies if it might sound a bit offensive, or out of line)
if you were told that some of your writing staff colleagues were gonna get sacked and you were asked to replace them the following day while getting a significant raise, how would you act? would you go on writing the show, or leave as well in protest?
Well, this is a fishy situation. I (And a few others) REALLY saw so many similarities to the comics!!
I know someone from the board who would agree with you.

:pLol more than a few would disagree with you on that. The Wildstorm run isn’t even considered canon because of how much it deviated from the established Thundercats verse.
I haven’t read them cover to cover but from what I have read, imo, they couldn’t get any worse than what they were. It was just complete confusion from start to finish - nothing made sense.
Really? And what similarities were those? The only ones I’ve heard talked about were Cheetara and Tygra being a couple and Dobo looking like Doberlord, both of which seems extremely coincidental to me because just having two people becoming a couple isn’t anything they have to draw from another source to do and there’s only so many ways you can draw a dude with a doberman’s head without them looking similar.
Well, there’s Pumyra’s personality post-Thundera (though that is freely attributed to the ASOE’s influence). Which is just one example. Just my opinion.

Good! I’m sorry that I will not be able to ask all of them. Currently are just trying to figure out schedules and when the actual interviews can be done. Also, am working on getting more people associated with the show on. Also making sure we have the right software for videos.
