FACT: the cats have a polytheistic faith.
THEORY: The Queen seems to have been a lady of great faith who looks to the gods for answers…perhaps she was a priestess? or the head of the spiritual order in thundera?
Or she did just believe in god/the gods? My mother is not a priest but she still believes.
There has been no indication that they’re anything but bodyguards. In interviews the crew has called them Thundera’s elite fighters and were compared to the secret service.

They also seem to believe in reincarnation. If you listen to what they say at Claudus’ funeral. Something like rest now to rise again.
Yup Tygra also says at the funeral pyre of Claudus “may your next life show you peace.”
It’s entirely possible given the startling resemblance between characters who are confirmed to be descended from one another like Leo/Lion-O and Tygus/Tygra.
Or the “next life” may simply be the afterlife.

Question: Tygra as a baby is shown without a tail…does this mean that some cats are born without tails? And would that mean that they are physically superior to those with tails? or is it a genetic trait that cats have used to separate the social classes?
It was stated in the pilot (I think) that some cats are born with tails and some are not, those who HAVE tails are simply lower down the social scale than those without, kind of like a caste system within a feudal system. Thunderian society is quite complex! BUT saying that it does not seem to be a major taboo, as Panthro himself was shown to have a tail once but at some point lost it, and he rose to the rank of general, a pretty substantial social standing.
it wasn’t brought up in the show. it was a question asked to the crew’s tumblr blog. Dan Norton basically said it was a birth defect/social stigma, but aside from that he also put the tails on because he thought it would help their balance when they moved.

approach was to give some tails and also make the ears different. For
WilyKit and Kat, the points of their hair is actually the tips of their
ears. That’s right, the whole part of their head is their ear.
The fur along the side of their head is, well, ear hair. So when you see Kit tie up her ponytail it’s actually pinning her ears back. My hope was that we could use the animal characteristics of putting the ears back when scared or threatened or perking one up when trying to listen would be interesting for a more dynamic character trait. Especially for comedy.
While we’re here let me explain the tails a bit. Again, I thought it would be cool to introduce social class stigmas amonst the thunderan people. Having been born with a tail in some opinion would be considered less evolved. A birth defect if you will. But as a design element, like a cape, the tail can give a sense of direction on a stagnant pose or give a sense of direction or movement to the arc line of the pose. In real life, cats tails can tell us more about the emotion of the animal. For example if it’s sitting still the tail may be swatting with a thump (which from watching my cat) meaning it’s going to pounce in a moment. Or when it slumps shows the cat is relaxed.
There is also the play that the tail helps with the balance of the cat, since the kids are like the acrobats of the group, I wanted to keep that aspect. Hope this give some insight…

Dragons in Thundera?..Mount Plundar seems to confirm this..Question is..will we see Dragons again or is this just a glimpse of the planets ancient past?..Either way..I hope we do see dragons!!!

The only dragons I remember were the guardians of the Book of Omens. Though there were unicorns.
There were more Dragon references and appearances.In Helpless Laighter Ezuca,the flying Serpent of Dreary Canal attacks Cat’s Lair.
And in ‘Jade Dragon’ we learn that the Double Headed Dragon of Doom has the power to entrap people in its stomach.
