The actual front cover (raised silver lettering and symbol) like ThunderaPrincess mentioned looks great, much better than the graphic I posted before.
I been wondering about that as well. Although He-Man was aired here in the mid 80s, Thundercats was never aired here and I watched all episodes (most of Season 1) on VHS and also watched ThunderCats Ho! as a whole movie on VHS. And I assumed that it was the end of the series :oops:. It is not until early 2000 when I saw some episodes of Season 2 on Cartoon Network I realized there was so much more and later online read the entire episode list
In US those episodes originally aired back to back on the same day, but when the episodes were released on DVD and broken into 5 episodes were they edited in anyway which resulted in minor scene deletions, perhaps due to a single episode time constraint?
Thanks for posting those images up, they look awesome! It’s a shame that the comic isn’t more exciting or I might even have been tempted to pick the set up, even though I have all the episodes twice already!
Assuming the UK release of Season 2 Volume 1 mirrors the US release (which history suggests it should), “ThunderCats Ho!” will be released on the DVD set as 5 single episodes - this is actually good news, as the single episodes are the most complete versions - the VHS release of “ThunderCats Ho! The Movie” was actually made up from those 5 episodes, and as such the stand-alone episodes actually feature several small scenes that were cut from the movie version!
