You might want to try amazon.com; they may have what you’re looking for. I’ve ordered books from them and they’re very good. 
As a matter of fact, I just checked them out and they do have “Reclaiming Thundera”, “The Return”, and “Dogs of War”.
The art is good, but I didn’t think the plot made any sense given the events of The Return. Bret Booth did some proposal pieces for Dreamwave a while back, and those looked very promising. It’s a shame that wasn’t picked up instead.
A new comic would be nice. Makes you wonder if it would pick up where the show left off (again) or tie into this movie.

I believe the point was that she wasn’t a broken down slave, they’d done all they could to break her will, she took every abuse they could imagine and she kept her pride, her defiance and her sense of selfworth. She never seemed broken because they never broke her. She may have given in to her anger and rage because of it, but that kept her fighting the good fight, it was why they couldn’t break her.

I want Kal-L back. That is my Super Return. Its the least likely thing to happen, of course. And even if he does return he wont be a permanent fixture in the mainstream DCU. But I want him back damnit.
I never actually read any of the Wildstorm comics, but I heard about them, particularly “The Return”
Now I love the basic story for it. If they were going to bring back Thundercats & continue where the old show left off (IMO, not the best idea, but hey), this would be a perfect premise to go with. Lion-O is tricked into banishment by Mumm-Ra, who takes over New Thundera in his absence, killing & enslaving the Thundercats, and Lion-O returns to find the devestated Thundera…that’s awesome, and there are so many new directions to take the story with that.
The thing that most people seemed to talk about was how “edgy” it was. Now I have no problem with updating and adapting to modern times, and I welcome more adult storytelling, but you can go too far, and IMO, having Lion-O killing at will, Cheetara getting raped by The Mutants, and turning the Thunderkittens into Mumm-Ra’s concubines is a bit much. You can go too far with these things.

The only part of the Wildstorm line I liked was Enemy’s Pride. The other books from Wildstorm I didn’t like was the lack of continuity and the fact they made Cheetara out to be the Thundercats HO. Enemy’s Pride was closest to the show in characterization. The art across the books was hit and miss. Some of the artists’ renditions made the Tcats look like monsters.
I finally read Enemy’s Pride, and I place it with Dogs of War in terms of quality. The art and premise weren’t bad, but some of dialog was. Our slang coming out of their mouths (“You da man!”) is goofy. It was obviously written with children in mind.

It may not have been those words exactly, but some young ThunderGuardsman say that about Lion-O. (Some backstory on them: Lion-O established a militia called the ThunderGuard, and one of the TCats is made a captain.)
I didn’t like Enemy’s Pride AT ALL. I liked “Reclaiming ThunDera”, “The Return” & “Dogs of War” and I kinda liked Hammerhands Revenge, exept for the whole ‘guardian of the forest-egyptian jackel-guy-situation’.
Somebody was able to hook me up with all the Wildstorm TCat comics (minus the Source Book)

I enjoyed most of them. The stories felt rushed, and it also felt like there was a huge chunk of story missing between “The Return” & “Dogs of War” I almost felt like I forgot to read something else before “Dogs of War” But there was a lot of good about these stories too.

The Origins were hit & miss. Some were interesting (Mumm-Ra, Cheetara, & Tashi), Others felt like history lessons, which is fine. But then others really didn’t tell me anything new or anything that I cared to know. Jaga vs. Grune for example was basically just Cheetara’s vision from “The Ghost Warrior” with dialogue. And the Sword of Omens’ origin was basically a story about nothing. I guess they wanted it to seem like the sword had humble beginnings, but it still didn’t make for an interesting story.

The Crossovers were fun, but heavily rushed as well. You can’t do Superman/Thundercats justice with just one issue (although I loved the ending with Latana Lin revealing who she really was). The two crossover G-Force issues were better, but still had some of the same problems. I’ll give them credit though for crossing over two teams of heroes that I would never have even thought of.

Reclaiming Thundera felt like they were trying to reference as many T-Cat episodes as possible to keep the fans happy (although in #3 I think they referenced every single bad Overgard episode, so that probably had the opposite effect, lol) Each individual issue is fun, and the story arc feels like a preview for something bigger. A nice refresher on Thundercats, and possibly a nice intro for those who aren’t familiar with it.

The Return…fantastic premise, and some great moments. But the much talked about controversial moments were too much for my tastes. It felt they did it just for the sake of doing it, and that kind of takes away from it. Most of the story is very good though, and I like how Lion-O is basically like Superman in that he’s the ultimate symbol of hope and without him, everything just kind of goes to hell.

Dogs of War was probably the one I enjoyed the most. Like I said before, I feel like there is a big chunk of story missing between this one & “The Return” but I liked how everything played out here. Again, certain things feel rushed, but what I really liked was that they finally did something where the T-Cats & Mumm-Ra had to work together. Most 80s animated shows managed to do it at one point or another: Turtles/Shredder, GI Joe/Cobra, Prime/Megatron, & probably most famously He-Man/Skeletor, but never in T-Cats did we see Mumm-Ra & Lion-O have to join forces to tackle a mutual enemy.

Hammerhand’s Revenge is the one that people told me was the worst…and they were right. I like how they tried to make it feel like an early Season 1 adventure with the Tcats having to gain the trust of the Third Earthlings to succeed, but what the hell was up with Snarf talking in the 3rd person? And Anubis, what was the point of him? I was also hoping that maybe this story would clear up what happened between “Spitting Image” & “Thundercats Ho!” and how Hammerhand could come back to life. Its a continuity error that has just driven me crazy. But instead of clearing it up here, they seem to just ignore "Spitting Image’ all together which was very disappointing.

Enemy’s Pride was a pleasent surprise. I wasn’t expecting much, but I really liked the idea of Lion-O going all mad dictator & basically forming his own gestapo, The Thunderguard. I also liked how they took an obscure villain and made something special out of it. Nothing groundbreaking here, but a fun story, and closer to the tone of the animated show than all the others.
I have to say though, I find it interesting that Snarfer was left out of the comics entirely and NOBODY cares. I love it. Heck, I know I didn’t miss him.

Would you all like to see him review the T-Cats Wildstorm comics? Keep in mind he wouldn’t be overly positive towards them, but I would love to get his reaction to some of the disturbing stuff from “The Return”. It would be funny if nothing else.
Just finished “the return” and I really liked it.
I wasnt annoyed by some of the more adult stuff.
Some poses of especially Kit (and Cheetara) were a bit in your face and not needed.
