I don’t know… I think I read here somewhere they have confirmed a second season (maybe Balgus posted something about it, I think), that’s why I got confused. Now, if you tell me a confirmation for teh second season is no guarantee, then it’s my bad.

Stop being mean. Many people are doing what they can and what they think will help the show. Everyone knows all this so there is also no point in typing it at all. People who want to support the show to it’s fullest are gonna do all the “petitions”. The ones doing only one are probably smart enough to pick the one who will grab the most attention anyway.

People tend to see multiple efforts as alternatives. “I do not want/already have a digital download/DVD/figure/playset/vehicle, so I will sign the petition to show support.” It allows people to feel that they have contributed without it costing them anything. It becomes an “instead of” and not an “in addition to.” My only point is that if you want to be successful, you undermine your goal by spreading support out across multiple efforts. There were countless petitions to get Family Guy back on television, but it was the sales of the DVDs that actually accomplished it. Warner Bros. is a business and money talks.

If it makes you feel better, I signed the petition, bought the new volume 2 DVD yesterday, and will buy the episodes on Amazon to support the show. Throw a few toys in there and I think I could single-handed-ly get it a second season!

anyway - I’ve talked to her and fathering supporters for the petition is just 1 part of her plan we’re not giving up on this show easily

Haha, passion can be a scary thing! I’m sure they will. I think that it speaks volumes that the people involved with the creation/production of the show (and their loved ones too) are fighting for it.
