Vultaire the birds version of Grune ? Personally I tend to think MumRa will show up in bird form just as it looks like Lion-O and co are about to get the stone. Vultaire will either already be in league with MumRa or will fall under MumRa’s influence, betray his people and lets the city fall.
Indeed. But at the same time, you could be a possibility that if the kittens came back with another bird nation in tow to talk about how their pride is bringing them down, than that would give them a reason to turn against Vultaire. That would give him motivation to turn on the birds. Other than that, I think they would follow him willingly even if it meant death (which it still would by the end)

My opinions about this show:
This episode made me like Pumyra a lot less that I already did (Sorry, fans!). It was the manipulation and the not listening that did me in.Let’s just say that I laughed at parts that I shouldn’t have.
On a positive note, I loved the fact that Tygra found a new skill, and I hope that the Tech stone doesn’t have to be taken.
It really wasn’t manipulation, even in the scene in my signature, because it was a decent plan and he didn’t not oppose it at all. I view manipulation as changing his mind by flirting with him. Sure, she flirted with him, but he wasn’t going to do anything different than what she planned.
Right now she’s kind of like Lion-O was in “Ramlak Rising” and “New Alliances” through the end of the trials, angry and not thinking things all the way through. It doesn’t make her a bad person, just not through with her character development yet. Maybe in the next episode while the cats are locked up and they have a chance for a heart-to-heart he’ll be able to explain to her in a way she can understand why it was wrong (my guess is he’ll give a “big picture” speech and explain that the city crashing would affect the cats as much as it would anyone else).
There’s a difference between angry and destructive (to say it nicely), in my opinion.
