I’m back! I truly loved this episode! Lion-O is shaping up to be a great king and I cannot wait to see how he and Pumyra’s relationship goes, I hope they end up being a remarkable tag team before they hook up and I’m betting they will hook up and if it happens after a little bit of time I’m okay with it. Hopefully Lion-O has the patience to deal with the fiesty puma, I wonder how old Pumyra is because to me she seems about Cheetara and Tygra’s age (I see a trend with our lion king and older women…)I loved the Tychee, yep I’ll admit I turned into a puddle of mush over how cute they were and Cheetara’s remark ‘you’re lucky you’re cute,’ read like she wanted to be annoyed with him but couldn’t and goodnaturedly commented on Tygra’s good looks getting him out of trouble with her for his crappy plan. And that kiss, sigh, oh Tygra the amount of cheese you were spewing was insane, showing that Tygra is still that same adorkable cub he was when he met Cheetara and still completely smitten so I could forgive it, I don’t imagine they get much alone time together and it was probably the closest thing to a date those two will have for a while. I’m glad Cheetara told Tygra to stop denying the curse as his lack of acknowledgement seemed to encourage dangerous encounters, it also shows she’s not just Tygra’s ‘‘yes man’’ she loves him but clearly knows he can be a bit of a butthead.
Okay now that I’m done being a total girl I actually LIKED Ratar-o’s accent, it came off like a rather sophisticated villian and I like sophisticated villians, their intelligence makes them even more dangerous to deal with, cavemen mentality villians are usually pretty easy to outsmart once you take their big sword/stick/club.
I almost died laughing at Panthro’s ‘‘maybe you should start with me, he’s getting us out of this’’ I LOVE Panthro.
True, I like them both to be honest. The 80s ones will always be my favourite, simply because I grew up with them. The new ones have grown on me though, even though I cant get used to the one that looks like it has an elongated squished head. It just doesn’t look right! But I like the more incorporated mechanical parts like the curling up into balls etc.
Which, I gotta say was pretty damn awesome, and only reinforces my desire for a Pumyra toy (although I wouldn’t be opposed to a Ratar-O or a Young! Jaga figure either). And who knew she carried a knife on her all that time? Is she going to pull random props out of nowhere from now on?
Lion-O just continues to get better and better, although it is kind of funny for him to be the one telling someone to chill out and stick to the plan, He’s gonna have his hands full with that one.
I kind of feel sorry for Panthro, all these kids and their hormones and their rock music and their what have you… How much longer until he can get back to his Tank where things make sense?
I enjoyed seeing Tygra and Cheetara have some moments together, and it played off well against how Lion-O and Pumyra were relating to one another providing a nice contrast.
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I saw how big Pumyra’s eyebrows were in animation as opposed to what we saw in the concept art where they were a bit more understated, but they’re starting to grow on me. Mostly because they seem to make her incredibly expressive in her facial animation. Cheetara’s tiny little eyebrows can make her look a little blase sometimes.
I know, Panthro should just be elevated to god status! I love his quotes in this!
I agree about Rataro’s accent too, I wasn’t sure when I first heard it but it really grew on me. I mean logically, rats are considered pretty intelligent (relatively), and they squeak, not growl! lol! So it makes a lot of sense for him to have a sophisticated accent to match a vicious intelligence.

I have no problem with being called out. You like to present yourself as one thing, but your post imply another You have some sort of personal problem with these posters, and have spent only god knows how much time reading their post and coming to your own warped conclusions.

Onto the topic at hand…I’m bouncing up and down with excitement over anticipation of the next episode something tells me the cats are going to throw down hard this next episode!
I think those are pretty ridiculous, but they don’t overuse them so it’s not too bad.

Between last week’s shot of her dropping her pellet and this week with the rock being lifted off her leg I think someone on the production team has a thing for Pumyra’s ankles. Two close-ups in as many episodes is kind of pushing it, considering she’s only appeared in two episodes.
